IT Technician at a school. (I got into classrooms and turn things on for teachers)

What's your situation at home like?
Currently living with my Dad at the family home as it's close to work. The house is currently on the market and  from the sale, I'll coming into my inheritance early. I am looking to buy a flat with it.

What kind of internet connection do you have?
Standard BT Internet. Really couldn't tell you the connection speed. But everything is pretty smooth, just the ocassional lag spike.

What are the core specs of your computer?
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU 3.00GHz 1337Mhz
4.00 GB RAM
Nvidia GForce9800 1.00 GB, Extra cooling.
It doesn't sound much but it does the job well. I have most grpahics set to low apart from important settings like Spell Detail and View Distance.

How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?
Since I was a kid so easily 20 years I play most types of games, I do enjoy stratedgy and a good 1st/3rd person shooter/rpg. Favorite games include: WoW, Portal 1&2, Dungeon Keeper 1&2 (anyone remember them?), Dead Rising 2. Saints Row 2.

What kind of raiding experience do you have?
Vanilla: Farmed all apart from AQ40(holy priest).
TBC: Farmed all apart from SWP(shadowpriest)
WOTLK: Farmed the released raids (DK) then I took a 2 year break.
Cata: BWD: 5/6 TOTW: 1/2 BoT: 1/4 (Bear, grrrrr)

What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?
Aztech: On Omnitron the Raid Leader once said "If you stand in the green clouds you do more damage" need I say more?
Vindication: The guild started to fall apart.
Set Sail For Fail: One of the raid leaders was a winja that yelled alot of abuse in TS. He drained the fun out of the game. Insulting people does not a great raid make.
Europe Raiders. Great guys but our raiding schedules clash a bit and I'm twice the age of one of the Raid Leaders which is a bit annoying.

Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?
Got some I mess around with but not on a full time status

What are your plans for the game?
To have fun and experience more content.

In what way would you like others to know you?
Treach, The friendly with a great (if not sometimes off) sense of humour. Happy to lend a hand and alsways looking to have fun.

Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
I have ADD but I don't think it is a prob... oh shiny! But seriously, my attention can wander a little but I find there's so many different things to concentrate on while playing a game that I can divert my wandering attention to keeping track of multiple things. I have been diagnosed with mild depression but I don't believe if effects my game face. My sense of humour can be a bit obscure at times and I can't resist a good old pun or sexual inuendo, but nothing too crass.
I enjoy WoW because of the vast world to explore and variety of things to do. (I'm a bit of a pet collector) I like how the achievements help you clarify some goals and makes them feel more worthwhile.

Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.

I'm running around 87% mitigation on a an average 25 man raid boss (thanks Rawr!)

Why did you decide to play this class?
I had just come back to the game after a 2 year break and wanted to explore all the roles while leveling so I could find the one that I enjoyed the most, turned out to be a tank. Obviously I have something wrong with me if I enjoy making things hit me.

What do you think your class' role is in raid content?
Much better now after 4.1 Now we can actually tank groups decently. I like the speed boosts we have which can be very useful in certain fights (Atramedes air phase for example)

Comment on your build.
I like this build. It's pretty much the standard Bear Tank build. I've put my spare point in King of the Jungle, thinking that the extra 5% damage from an enrage pull would give better aggro than the haste from Stampede.
Why did you choose it?
To quote the phrase I want in my obituary: "It seemed a good idea at the time."

What do you think of other builds of your class?
Pretty much the same as my build with small variations.  

Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)
Because I did allot of research on several forums as well as my own experimenting and believe this to be my best spec. I constantly use gear checkers and ma alwasy looking t tweak my gear for that extra 0.1%

What do you look for in a guild? ''Dead Men Raiding''
A fun guild I can get along and enjoy playing WoW with. People who will help you as you help them.

What comes to mind when you see that guild name?
People that know they are going to wipe, but will have a go anyways.

There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?
You seem like a nice guild with some good progression as well as a good ethos and a solid background. (how many games to does the guild crossover on?) The age requirement is also very intresting considering my age. Having teenagers swearing on TS is a bit annoying.

Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding?

Makes sense and looks to support an environment where encouragement and advice are behind raids, not insults and blame.

Annoying questions

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
Privately tell them what I find offensive, giving an explanation of why. If this doesn't solve it I will take it up with a guild officer or above. I would try to keep any negative argument private and not share it with the world.

Extra Notes
I can normaly do: Fri or Sat, Sun or Tuesday and Thursday. (due to my social calender) So I'd like to apply for you're 2nd, twice a week raid group (RDW I think).
You may also notice I am still with my guild. I have been thinking of leaving for a while but do enjoy most my time with them. Between some of the attitudes the Raid Leaders seem to have and that we've been stuck on a boss for several weeks because of alot of repeated mistakes has made it a bit hard for me to want to stay. Just hard to say goodbye properly. (Don't like to stealth leave a guild, doesn't feel right)
