Guys,
 
Think we should consider planning a SDM / SRushTourney?
 
It's been a wee while since dMw had a tourney organised.
 
We could PW the server and switch it and hold say a three map comp with either all teams or if we run a Squad Rush Tourney we could run it differently.
 
Do you think we have enough BC2 players to pull something like that off? Ideally I'd want 20 (five squads) but we could run it with 16.

I'm interested, I'm not sure whether we could manage to do it all in one go, we always seem to run into difficulties that way.

Maybe see how many people are interested & have a little in house weekly tourney/league or something? just a thought.

Yeah i'm up for it.  Cheese Puff & De Blob would like to play as well depending on time.  Only problem is i only have two gaming rigs.

Squad Rush.

Run it like the lan....  Grab everyones names and randomly select teams.
Make a league table, then its up to the teams to sort out when they play.

I'm thinking a Sunday Afternoon. We'll make sure the Juniors are on separate squads from us. Can't guarantee that will work however.

Trying to run a league table will be difficult as apathy will set in.
If we run it the same as all the other tourneys, i.e. do it all on one day, then it should work.
If you come up with 3 posible dates and then poll members for their availability you will get an idea of interest and numbers. At a pinch we could run it over two weekends, first two rounds on one and then the semis and final on the next?
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.
