I finally got together the cash to get a Tiger  II this morning, so I thought I'd give it a little run out & see how she plays, this was the result of my 1st round in it -

Got a 3601 and pushing toward PzVI territory, then read the stock tigger is a pig and research everything you can in advance from the 3601. I just want an L/71 88, seeing as you can't get a 17pdr.

Yea the stock tiger can be a bit iffy, but then pretty much every tank I've had is a bit iffy stock, once you get the big gun on it, it gets a bit more fun, play it the same as the 3601, keep your distance & pick things off - think of german tanks as the snipers of the games - preferrably you want to keep out of closr combat with things the same size/bigger than you.

The 3601 is worth fully researching anyway as it's usually stated to be about the best medium in game.

The battle marked a major turning point in the Western Desert Campaign of the Second World War, when Lieutenant-General Bernard Montgomery took command of the British Eighth Army from General Claude Auchinleck in August 1942 and the Allied victory turned the tide in the North African Campaign. It ended Axis hopes of occupying Egypt, taking control of the Suez Canal, and gaining access to the Middle Eastern oil fields.

Further, Winston Churchill said of that victory: "Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end, but it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning." And after the war, he wrote: "Before Alamein we never had a victory. After Alamein, we never had a defeat."

Ok, I've been meaning to post this for ages but kept forgetting, DuVels just reminded me, so I thought I better come straight here -

In game you have 2 sets of x-hairs, both looks like ^'s, go into your settings/ reticle/ gun marker - & change it to Crosshair I (with armour etc) - now when you line up on someone your see that the little + will change colour, green = good damage, amber = ok, red bad.

Also in the options untick "Enable vehicle vibration in sniper mode" now when you shoot while zoomed you view won't go crazy from the recoil.

Hope this helps a few peeps out.

Put the baby 88 on my 3601 baby tiger last night, I like it, makes a big noise. So then I went looking for nice skins to decorate my leetle tank.
Meow I thought. But I went for this instead
