Had a quick game of OA Today playing with some aussies its a good game will have to go through boot camp first as the aussies were calling me a noob for not knowing how to get in a transport car etc was quite funny:P, looks an amazing tatical fps though.

I bought ArmA2 after hearing good things about it and in anticipation of ArmA2: PR coming out but it was incredibly complicated and clunky. I guess I will buy Operation Arrowhead since apparently Project Reality is gonna need it.

I have voted OA only but for the record I am more than willing to buy arma 2 standalone, I love this game so would be more than happy to get it should I need to :)

Does this mean we get servers that run arma 2 as well then team?

The answer is after thinking about it and discussing it with the admins we feel that it would be a great deal of work for just one map, it would also stop some people from playing due to not having Arma 2 and other issues.  We moved away from Arma 2 to OA cause of the newer maps, more stable game.  And if we went back to Arma 2 we would be going backwards.  

So I think this is the best course of action for the future of Arma 2 OA section that we dont install a Arma 2 server.

It will also split the gaming section as well,  and I am do not like that idea.

As this was mainly towards CQB we have been looking for more maps and there is now TODAY a domination map which we can edit once it is tried.  

I hope that this answers yours question and gives the reasons why.
