Are you sure you're OK to take four people Gortex? Would you rather take less and I'll reschedule to pick some up on the way through (preferably some of the earlier ones?).

Guys, Gortex is running a special round rip from the hotel in March to the airport and back again. it's a 100+ mile round trip and will take more than three hours. It's a generous offer and I'm sure you'll cover his petrol and buy him a drink or three

Yes the offer still stands and am more than happy to make the trip. I am one of those odd people who like driving but the supplement of pennies towards the expensive fuel is very welcome.

May i suggest that anyone getting a lift sends a PM to the person picking them up with:

-flight number
-which terminal you arrive/depart at/from
-time of arrival/departure
-mobile telephone number so that you can hook up at the terminal
