Teamspeak Microphone problems

For some reason when i push to talk on teamspeak its not picking up anything even though my mircophone is connected and working fine (checked via windows volume control properties) so not really sure why its not working?

Can anyone help

check that TS is using the correct capture device (settings/options/capture)
Mine swapped these settings once for some reason o_0
