So the lan was set with a guild meet to run along side it....Something i couldn't miss....Really wanted to go to a lan and meet the peeps ive been playing WoW with,some for about 5 years.....

Had a few issues,needed my license back; passed on the thursday just before.
It was the missus's birthday; extra presents and i could go for 1 night...

w00t! im going....

£20 crappy hawian shirt...
£8 fez...
£179 Sat nav...
£67 hotel down the road (lan hotel fully booked)
£25 taxis from my hotel and back from the lan once i was politely drunk...

So im all set....

Asked my brother to top my oil up in my car whilst i went into town to sort my bills and general RL crap....came back he had gone out....so i just set off...

About halfway i stopped at the lakeside services and got some petrol and thinking my brother hadnt topped up my oil i bought a bottle...

Checked the dipstick and i was low,so i chucked in this bottle of oil and went bk into the services to grab something to eat....

Back to the car and it didnt start....mmmm....literally at this point i get a text from my brother saying he topped my oil up.....oh crap...

I had flooded my car...Automatic shutoff so you dont blow your seals and rings etc....

Rang the AA and payed for a years member ship....£149

They came out and the chap said he couldnt do anything as it needs dranning and preasure testing and lots of other stuff....

Had to be towed home....£172

I arrived at the services at about 3pm,i got home about 30mins ago....1am...long wait for the tow truck and a painfully slow drive home feeling sorry for myself...

I now have to pay for it to be taken to a garage and sorted

Just over £600 spent and a few more to fix my car....

But i missed the bloody lan!!!!! totally gutted bout that more than anything :ranting2:

I hope you all had a great time....im defo coming to the next 1 and im going to get a taxi there and back....i think it will be cheaper
