Yeah verily it was a spiffing (no it is not mis-spelt I am an ex-smoker:sideways:) time to be had.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my LAN admins who made this possible and all attendees for being there.
And my PC worked when I plugged it in at home :D

I am not sure if I should thank Albert, he has introduced me to BSG and I suspect this may take up some of my precious time.:blink:

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

Great LAN, an I'll add my thanks to the LAN Admins & TL for organising a great weekend - somehow they even managed to book in good weather (which was wasted on most of us...)

PC & I got home safely - the kids must have missed it as I turned my back for 5 minutes after setting it up and one of the little blighters had nicked my seat :ranting2:

I write down everything I want to remember. That way, instead of spending a lot of time trying to remember what it is I wrote down, I spend the time looking for the paper I wrote it down on.

I had an absolutely brilliant time at the LAN. Thanks to all the organizers and the wonderful attendees.

Even the travel wasn't that bad now that I've slept for 16 hours and had my dinner. Got home at 1:15AM local time :p

About the same time I got home. I had to get a few hours sleep before heading straight to work though :rolleyes: Brutal... thank god for coffee

Me, Spiritus and Kakehund had foreseen that problem, so all of us had cleared a monday off with our respective overlords. That's what you should've done too :D
Sucked bad enough having to go back to work this morning, but in half an hour I'm outta here. The crucial first workday after a LAN is overwith :D

I had actually cleared the whole week, but someone decided that one week of vacation time so far this year was all I would get :rolleyes:

...soooo 4 weeks off in December OR 150% overtime for those weeks, tyvm. No, that was not a request, ma'am.

Well, the vacation rules have gotten quite complicated these past couple of years. Still, if you penned in all five weeks, and you only got to take one, you've got some serious overtime coming to you :D

Me, I still have two weeks I gotta take before the end of the year. Last two weeks? I think so :D

Hey guys, Just wanted to say a Big Thank You for a fantastic time at the LAN, great to meet you all once again and to see even more peeps  from DMW:)  Great pics too!!   I'll try and post some to, once i've figured out how to it! :doh:

Better late than never.... ;)

I had an awesome weekend, so big thanks are in order for all the people who made the magic happen. Cheers guys, see you in April.

It looked like an excellent 4 day LAN, shame I could only come for the day.
Good to see people I know and meet people I don't.
