I agree a very smoothly run and a great many laughs had. Much thanks to all organisers even if they had a smaller part to play as it all made a big difference.

Thanks to Toby & Ninja for the superb organisational feat they pulled off.
Great to see old and new faces too:D

Very impressed. The whole weekend was great fun from arriving at the bar propped up by a bunch of scary foreigners right through to seeing selected scenes from videos involving circus like manoeuvrability. Big thanks to everyone who made it happen.

I agree with Sparko though Fatbob's race rig was quite the experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it despite being rather terrible. Big thanks to him for giving up any chances of using his computer himself over the weekend.

Also really enjoyed the shirts on Saturday was great to see so many participate.

Congratulations to everyone involved for a brilliantly run LAN.

Its amazing how many people came from far off lands (and exotic ones like scotland =p). I think the LAN team should be very proud of the last few days.

I had a great (if not sleep deprived time) and I would love to thank Toby and Ninja for putting on a stella performance. I would also like to thank TL and PEN for working so hard behind the scenes. The WoW'ers were a really great addition this time round and are all great fun, I really hope there will be socials happening at the same time in the future as having some beers with you guys was awesome!

TL deserves another honourable mention for possibly the best game of human Buckaroo I have ever seen, I will remember that for ever.

Again congratulations to all involved!

Oh joy I can hardly wait.

Whilst I'm working on next years' dates, are there weekends that you can't make and I'll see if we can make it slap bang in the middle of one? :flirty:

I'll repost what I've just posted in the HHA thread

TL is this year's long overdue winner.

Bizarrely TL had never received the HHA before but that was primarily down to the face that he used to choose the recipient.

This LAN was was more than apt to put that right. He, along with Ninja  and Toby, spent untold hours of time and hundreds of PM's in getting  this LAN organised. The added (welcome) complication of organising a DMR  meet at the same time meant the three of them worked hard for months in  getting the planning right.

Along with several others - Oldie for the servers (as always!), Twobad  and Lionheart for the technical support, Lib for the servers, Drunken-Zombie for tech support  and for the photography and even young FatBob for bringing along his  complete racing rig.

Many others too all helped in their own way be it from restarting  servers, setting up tables, clearing away rubbish, wrapping up cat cables, taking Sarah (the young and  attractive) hotel waitress out for the night, etc etc so thank you to  you all.

phew finally home :P that was a fantastic weekend and I really enjoyed it allot so cheers everyone and I'll cya next time :D
Maybe there\'s something to be said for being different. We are who we are. What more could we ask for?

DuVeL

First thanks Toby and Ninjaf****, ehrm, NinjaFreak and offcourse TeaLeaf for the organisation. Really had a good time.
Second, cheers DA and Fatbob, excellent wingmans the both of you. Next time we need to sort something around my place!
Third; Rob the manager for driving me and the others to Stansted. Much appreciated should he ever read it.
Fourth, my teams in the competitions. Good fun and had a blast (several even). Got some nice shiny new dogtags because of that.
Fifth Krispy for sharing the twinroom. Nice to finally meet you.
Sixth; All the new LANguys. Special thanks to TwoBad, nice to meet you in RealLife.
Seven; My fellow World of Tank players. Speak to you soon again for the dailies!

Did I miss anything?
Ah yeah, forgot to mention something. I was starting up my Shuttle at home again and got the message that my Antivirus has been busy this weekend as I got a message that it got rid of some virusses. Ran a complete scan and found some others. Might be a good suggestion to all to check your computers also.

Huge thanks to all involved for organising. As a firstie I felt very welcome and I had loads of fun even though I was only there for the DMR social. Seeing everyone gaming has made me seriously consider coming with some gaming gear next time (financial situation allowing) :-)

And most of all it was great fun putting a face to all the names on TS and in WoW! Raiding will never be the same ;-)
or Garrit, or Torgen. Also, Livestream.

Finally home! Been a long day of traveling and waiting at the airport!

Would really like to thank everyone for the warm welcome. It was well worth the trip and it was nice to meet so many of the faces behind the avatars and voices.

Really super amazing special thanks to Toby for picking me up when I arrived and Gortex and Feezuki for taking me all the way to Gatwick for the trip home.

Also great effort from everyone involved with the social bit, and Tealeaf made sure our glasses were never empty!

Had some good laughs out at the club, or for 1 beer on the way home as FatBob put it. Me, Tan and DA pulling all the moves on the dance floor, and FatBob being a complete superhero! You sir are "super amazing" ;)
