apologies for absence

sorry I couldn't make this evening and failed to give a heads-up that I'd be late.
My wife's been in hospital for over a week and today I had to visit in the evening rather than the afternoon as i have been.

I write down everything I want to remember. That way, instead of spending a lot of time trying to remember what it is I wrote down, I spend the time looking for the paper I wrote it down on.
