Some noob questions...

So I tried to play. Naturally, mayhem :-)
Some Qs:
1. Must I find a game through this web thing?
2. It automatically logged me as bar72, which I once was :-) ; how do I Change my on-game nick? add the dmw thingy?
3. Need I get (buy for 5E) the physical warfare pack for multi?
4. How the hell do I see the pings of servers/players?
5. How do I log to our server?

You have to start the game through origin which then opens the battlelog(web thingy) to play the game, there is a thread to change your nick on origin already (seach for it), you dont have to buy the physical warfare pack but we might end up putting the extra DLC maps from it on the server, cant see the pings as of yet, you can join our server though players or seaching the name (there is also a thread telling you how to join the server on the forums).

you don't need to go trough the origin to start the game, I just use the battlelog site as homepage for my secondary web browser (IE), from there it's almost like facebook with friendslists (a list on our names is in the forum) and stats and so on.  
On both Internet Explorer and Firefox I can see the ping on the server browser, but it's a bit faulty, also need to have the latest application for battlelog on the web browser.

3. No, the maps aren't out yet, and you don't "need" the early weapon unlocks.
4. Server ping you can see in the server browser. Player ping Dice/EA feel is not important.

DD, there's no maps in the Physical Warfare pack. That's just some guns and stuff. It was a pre-order offer.
Back To Karkand on the other hand, does contain maps. That might have to be bought later on. This is part of LE, but can be bought separately later.

It does, but you unlock weapons pretty fast anyway. The PW package just lets you start with some of the higher tier weapons unlocked. Think the only ones I used were the SKS sniper rifle and DAO-12 shotgun. You can get better weapons unlocked by just setting off an evening or two for some coop play with a friend.

i cant say ive used the dlc weapons much anyway coz there pants :/ there unlocked quickly anyway till about level 35(ish) its pretty fast

Found a cure: all on "LOW" and it plays; feel s abit like CSCZ, but at least I get to shoot you :-)
So now the Q: should I upgrade my ATI from 4790, or need I change my whole PC (based on E8400)?
