Great fun. I'm already noticing how much teamplay comes in to play now with no regen. If the squad split up or had no medic, we just got stomped. Also vehicles aren't as imbalanced vs infantry now. I won't be on much this weekend to play, as I have a lot of RL stuff to do. So have fun! I'll join you after the weekend.

Also who was it I owed a beer for shooting down Peanut?

Really shows the benefit of splitting into 2 TS channels!

Well, being on the other end of that was frustrating, but you guys did have some excellent team moments

The guys on our side hardly said anything, and that may be my fault for not saying much either. Sorta forgot I was on TS after a couple moments, since there was nothing coming through. Absolutely nothing

I hope we get to the point soon when you can be in two different TS channels and just have two PTT buttons, or even better, if squad/team comms is introduced in BF3. Then we could have both banter and teamwork, and the other team wouldn't be in the position of having to decide wether they should keep on as scheduled, or adjust the plan according to what you hear the enemy say on TS (ie play it straight or be cheating meta-gamers

).

The regen thing did impact teamwork in exactly the way I hoped it might. Now, if you hit something, it stays hit until an engineer or medic has looked at it. It's also finally encouraging people to bring medpacks instead of n00blaunchers. (Well, the assault class anyway, wouldn't mind it if some darkvoiced dMw member stopped lugging his RPG around everywhere

).

Brilliant tactic for getting rid of annoyingly good pilots though. Just publicly announce 1 beer at the LAN per person for shooting them down. Think Peanut felt a bit hunted
