OK guys, so the issue is this. I am not a rich man and can only afford one MMO. I've already made the decision to play SWTOR instead, after playing on the weekend beta test. As such, my sub is now cancelled and will expire on 5/12. Now, the title has a question mark after it because I normally get some WoW game time cards as mini Christmas presents so if I do get any then I may come back after that point.

I *would* like to finish the content on 4.3 and take down DeathWing, but right now the thought of taking down some rebel scum is more appealing. It's likely that 4.3 if it happens this week will hit on Wednesday which I don't want to log one raid night for so my last raid night is likely to be Tuesday when we take down Raggy HC :)

Vargen

I canceled WoW also. Not that I've been on it a great deal since I stopped raiding. I just feel that we've grown appart. Sorry WoW, it's not me, it's you ;)

Been playing A LOT of BF3 in stead, and a bit of Skyrim while waiting for SWTOR. They are all 3 much more fun for me then WoW. I will be switching my main focus to SWTOR and play BF3 on the side, at least fridays!

from what i saw when playing the beta for swtor this weekend, id say that its more than likely im swapping as well. I aint got time to play both actively.

TeaLeaf

I'm raiding 4.3.  SWTOR can wait until they fix the bugs.  I aim to level something slowly in SWTOR in my non-raid time and when I can be bothered to get online.

I signed up to WoW for another 12 months and I plan on raiding in WoW for at least that time.
I will be playing SWTOR when not raiding though.

I have a 6 month WoW subscription still running for a while but will watch the SWTOR situation with interest - i havn't played the Beta but i'm not really a Beta kind of guy tbh.

I'm in WoW for the remainder of Cata and will see what the next expansion brings......but tbh a lot of the new "features" of the next expansion do not fill me with joy -if i wanted to play bloody Pokemon i'd go play Pokemon and be done with it, and if they don't get the new "talent trees" ( if thats what they are still called with so few options ) right then it could be the final icing on the cake for many players anyway.

In short, i'll probably play both for a while side by side and make a choice on one at a much later date - this isn;t the first time something new has come along as a distraction from WoW but none of the challengers so far have lasted past the initial "ooo...somethign new" phase.

I've seen a lot of this WOW/SWTOR thread these days... I personally prefere wow, not just for the fantasy environment but also becouse having a jedy or a sith taken out by a smuggler isn't something close to my idea of SW. That being said, i hope that in case SWTOR will start having some followers you'll have a dedicated section on the forum. :D

TeaLeaf

They already do and a private section will follow if as and when one is needed.
