So the beta is over, and considering some features were disabled in the Beta, AA for one as well as it not being the final release, I was thinking we should probably uninstall the clients, as its my experience with past beta launchers and trying to use them for initial launch to end badly :P

Unless there is another beta weekend first, but I doubt that. Things looked pretty close to finished.

Agreed I would hold on to it till you get the opportunity to download the full client then dump it.

As Varg said we might have another weekend of testing. Well here's to hopping :-)

I can easily see Brother T hopping around in bunny ears @ the next LAN :P

Anyhooo, back on topic, I seem to recall a dev over @ the bioware forums saying there's a possibility that the beta client will patch to the released client as it's a massive download and a huge number of testers. But might != will. I actually don't want another beta weekend. I've seen enough of the game to see I want it badly and there were very few bugs I encountered.

Dec 15th (if I get the full 5 days) can't come soon enough!

If there is another beta weekend, I will most likely play my assassin up to 25 and work on "rotation", UI and spec to learn the workings of the class rather then focus on content. Also I would try out the warrior and agent class a bit more, as I like both of those as well. Maybe spend some time playing with the trade skills so I know the workings of those a little better when the game goes live.

I do agree that seeing too much of the content before live will take away some of the excitement when it does go live. I'm not to worried about the lower level stuff though, as hopefully most of the content will be end game. Some extra time to test out the different classes wouldn't be a bad thing.

At this point I've seen the content for the first few levels on 3 classes, so I will probably just rush though those while skipping dialogs to get ahead of the mass, and hopefully by doing that leave the worst players behind and have less crowded questing. After that I will slow down and enjoy the game as I go through the "new" content.

I hope that also the 5 days in advance works out. So that some of us are indeed at a place where we can really enjoy the game with hopefully good group setups for the flashpoints etc.

We don't have a single healer at this point though, do we? :g:

We had one of the beta testers swapping specs between flashpoints and questing. But havn't seen or heared from a fulltime healer in the group.

But playing in a healing spec won't really help with the solo q's so yeah i think we will see them only in flashpoints or at full lvl.

Whitey

I'm seriously thinking about changing to Inquisitor after my time on the beta and going healing spec for end game, rather than tank. Still not 100% sure though.

JanuZ

I am planning to play as a healer but doubt that I will level as a healing spec. Though Healing spec shouldn't be needed in the early flashpoints and I could change my spec to be slightly more healing friendly(already taking a talent that reduces casting cost of healing and damage spells and could take the talents that make Shield Barrier more effective). On the other side I will not have vacation during christmas so I might as well take my last vacation days for prerelease so a decent chance that I will be higher level than most people leveling.

I have also changed class,i'm gonna start as Sith Warrior.
This as main, maybe im gonna lvl later the Sith  Inquisitor.

I'm guessing it will be hard for an assassin to switch to healing, but I will probably play up an imperial agent as a healer alt. I didn't get to play it as much, but the little I did was enjoyable. The only class I don't really like is the Bounty Hunter. I just can't relate to the class at all, so it doesn't appeal to me. As main I would say the choice stands between Juggernaut, Marauder and Assassin.

The companions should help when leveling as healer though? I have leveled as healing spec in both WoW and WAR, and it really isn't that bad. With heroic missions, flashpoints and space battles, it should be fairly doable.

Karrth moonbladeq

I've spent some time as a Logistic pilot (healer in EVE) but that's a far cry from what I understand is needed during a raid.

I'll probably just go with something simple until I get the hang of this type of gaming. Still I have to see the end game of both inquisitor and the warrior... What little I saw of the storyline during the beta forces me to do this.
