A few tweaks to our server?

Hi Guys,

After the games tonight, i want to get some feedback on the way our server is running.

The main thing is the 'vote map' option, are we all in agreeance that we want this removed and a map rotation system put in place?

Also do we want the server changing to a 'Realism' Server, this will remove things like the map in your bottom right corner and remove the 'Kill cam' aspect of the game etc...

Can we have some feedback, as it is your server...... and please be honest

A Map rotation would make it more structured, hardcore/realism would really add to the server aswell. The thing that concerns me is the ammount of traffic the server brings in the way of players ( or be it lack of  asthe case may be?) certinly from the gametracker stats theres been 63 different players on the server? the ammount of players on the server on the past month is a bit dire. http://cache.www.gametracker.com/images/graphs/server_players.php?GSID=1632490&start=-1m&request=05516038909398726

This thread is for feedback from players that play the game on our server regardless of the activity on it.

It is intended to pull together idea's for the good of players that play it. Im not interested in Statistics, im more interested in having fun, and that the players playing it have fun, which we did tonight, it means alot more to me

I agree that RO2 isnt as popular as the majority of games at the moment, which is why this post is open for the community to have their say and add what they wish to see on our/your server.

I think RO2 is going to be a pot-boiler.
It's a fantastic game, and as people lose interest in other games, hopefully they will try this.
The bugs are getting ironed out and eventually it will be perfect:)
As Tripwire's Twitter feed says

We will continue to improve the game and add additional features and functionality for years to come.

Also, they have released the modding tools so the community will soon be adding more maps and modes for us to enjoy.

I'm all for more realism, and a rotation would be great (atm with voting it seems we play a limited bunch of maps)

Rotation will be a good idea, can always change the map manually if required, i prefer the mini map though as i use it to locate teammates so we can co-ordinate

Dont mind the hardcore server or how we run it atm.  I think a rotation of maps is a better way to go imho
