That song/video started seriously good, last part went a bit meh.

Still, very nice.  Especially like that glass cracking part in the end, and the light tube plus moths leg.

Yeah, had a good start, not so keen of the middle but liked the end. She writes her own stuff and is pretty decent IMO.

Heard a few of her other songs which sounds a little like a James bond theme tune (in a good way), she can defo sing live though.
 Bring on the randomness!
Apparently I actually exist! Or maybe it was the drink?

Taylor Momsen shows that having been amongst the guilty for Gossip Girl doesn't mean you're a total writeoff, fronting the band The Pretty Reckless.

Decent southern/groove-flavoured alt metal on this track, bordering more on grunge, hardcore punk, and straight-up alternative in other tracks. Not unpleasant.
I'm not opposed to how she dresses in this video either :D

Killing Joke... Those boys have mellowed with age. This is very relaxing.

Was watching the 6 Nations YouTube channel and after the 6 biggest tackles of 2014, the next vid up was this guy for some reason:

Glad to find it, amazing. [not sure about the cloth thingy though}
Cheers, Bert

A wonderfully hypnotic 15 minute journey which I have only just found this week (courtesy of its slot in the playlist for the most recent Deep House Cat Show)

The second phase (from just after 5 minutes) is tremendous and I can see fitting into a monster deep house sets.

... acoustic punk rock.

A lot of the aging punk front men are doing solo folk/acoustic stuff. Greg Graffin has released a couple of brilliant albums, the first under the pseudonym Cold As The Clay and the second as himself. One that I keep coming back to is Acoustic by Joey Cape and Tony Sly.
Front men and singers of Lagwagon and No Use For A Name respectively, they did this album using some of their better songs and re-orchestrating them. Justified Black Eye is one of the more powerful songs by No Use For A Name, and it keeps appearing on the playlist whenever the boys are gathered. Under the guise of anthem punk the text is actually quite heavy, and in a calm acoustic guitar and strings orchestration it becomes down-right haunting.

Today, it's Alfred Hall - The King of Cape. Not because I like Alfred Hall, but because I saw it in the local paper. The music video is shot in Ã...lesund, which houses a lot of dMw'ers and is the site of the second Norwegian Adventure this summer.

Screw the text, that's just a music journo anyway, but the play button should be the same in both languages :D
