Dr Sadako

First post updated to reflect current rules.

The rule shouldn't have needed stating so clearly, I don't know anyone wearing tags who was in doubt about the use of these weapons. But it's good to have the rules updated every now and again to align in writing with how we play.

With the all new CS:GO and updated models, is this rule still in effect?

TeaLeaf

As you rightly pointed out in the other thread Faust, the rules are somewhat out of date and circular in some cases due to the evolution of the rules over time and with different iterations of the CS game.   The general rule is, no more than 1 awm per team, try to avoid using an awm when you have an advantage (e.g. your side is leading by 2 rounds or more), etc.   Basically try to keep the game competitive and not do things that make it boring as heck for others.
