I think I have brought this up earlier, trying to get people to do some rated battlegrounds.
Well, we were not enough signups then, so Ill make a new on a similat topic.

Premade/Rated battlegrounds.

Since the last time I made a post, we had quite a few new members. Therefor I would like any to PvP'ers join up on late night premade runs through a couple of battlegrounds.
If you are interested in this kind of activity, feel free to make a reply in this thread. We dont need to be more that 3-5 people. If more are interested, its would be cool to make some Rated BG's.

The days we are raiding (mon, tues, wed, thurs) makes it a little hard to find time for this, and thats why Im thinking late night PvP'ing.

So.... Tuesday and/or Thursday after raid. We go for 1-1,5 hours. We stay on TS. We'll have fun.

Soooo.. Any takers?

I used to enjoy some PvP, but then I kinda stopped at the beginning of this season and I haven't even stepped into a BG since 4.3 dropped, so my gear is less than adequate for this season

I would like to matey,but with the new baby im just not on as often as i would like....

If i am on and you have enough to go do a couple i will join and depending on who we have i can join with Moonslash...resto dr00d with about 4.3k res. Or with the origional ganker Switch.He only has about 1.2k but working on it,but ive had no real problems with him in bg's

Done abit....upto 2146res and should get 4set by 2moro....but i dont need it....realising how good rogues are in pvp again!

Havent really played rogue for 2yrs so new abilities and rotations and such but we fecking pwn again if ur up for a guild 2's or 3's or 5's lets do it!

Hey, good to hear Switch :-) I have a team and I am ready to go.

Anyhow; For the rest of you out there who are thinking... "I cba to do this cause I aint got no gear."

PvP gearing made easy:
ilvl 358 "bloodthirsty" PvP set can be obtained through crafting (we have all the recipes in guild). Or picked up on AH. 200-800g each.
ilvl 390 "Ruthless" PvP set can be obtained from vendors, by spending your your Honor points(HP).
ilvl 403 "Cataclysmic" PvP set can be obtained from vendors, by spending your Conquest points(CP).

How to get honor points:
Weekdays: Do random battlegrounds. You get honor all the time, but Alterac Valley and Isle of Conquest will give you more than others. Winning is ofcourse the key most HP.
Weekends: Do "Call to Arms" battlegrounds. You will get twice the honor you usually do.

How to get Conquest points:
Arena wins. Rated Battleground wins.
And for the rest of us.. Random Battlegrounds: 100CP for the first victory each day. 50CP for the next wins until you cap for the week. Cap is 1650 Conquest points.

No, my friend. You do not. Having teammates, a good time and brains is the most important thing. If you have a few of ilvl390's... You will go along way.
This is how much my stats improve by upgrading my 5-set from 390 to 403.

+263 Int
+394 Sta
+39 Mastery
+513 Armor
+175 Resilience
+68 Crit
+68 Haste

See? Thats not alot. I do spend 6 weeks earning CP for the 403set, but the 390 set was earned within a few days. Just.. win

If you see me online, and want to do a Random BG or two... let me know. I have done alot of these now, and know the tricks in most BG's. Teaming up and defeating the uglybugly hordies is always more fun and satisfying than doing it... alone.

I can confirm this, having died only twice on my Shadow Priest during an EoE PVP run earlier today with Incendia & Hubbah whilst face-melting 70 or so Horde during the same game whilst wearing full PVE gear with zero resilience.

Ill vouch for the resi gear being more nice to have than needed ... im running in my pve feral stuff and not having much in the way of problems (apart from hunters i just cant catch the buggers):boxing:

Allo as with switch I have the lil one now so time is limited - it's good fun pvp and do miss it. Used to play a lot on the priest but if dps is required - frost spec will get broken out again
