RGW Progress, Roles and TS (again)

Just want to say a big Gz to RGW all bosses down bar madness before the nerf! :thumbsup:

Rgw is running abit different compared to the Dreaman days, the tasks over a raidnight im sharing out as this gives people more of a team feel imo. Im running the grp as leader with Sharp and Sithy as my right hand men and they are doing a great job. Depending on the fight we have others to call out adds incoming or movement etc. I feel this is working well but if anyone has comments,ideas feel free to post them.

Currently Sithy is running DKP and i do for backup if sithy cant make it. Im running combat logs/live logs during the raidnights...Some nights i will be rotated out of the grp as we have to bench people now...Im looking for a volunteer to have live logs installed and ready to go if i have to sit out, be it benching myself or due to the baby like last night (sorry again). Imo it would be better to have 1 other healer or 1 of the tanks do it as they will generally be in for every fight but anyone would help ....If you could help me and RGW with this that would be great....post here or PM me

RAID PREP: DMR supply everything...flasks and food. I get on before the raid and grab the fish or buy it and the same with the flasks....so we didnt have many people trading and making cauldrens etc,i lvled alchemy to 525 so i could make the cauldrens to save time. At the moment we are rotating people due to having extra dps and healers. Im trying to rotate it fairly, asking people what the need from bosses etc keeping a list of fights they did last week and trying to deal with 8 people /w'ing me and trying to reply quickly!
So if you are not in for the 1st boss or 2 you wont get a flask from the cauldren. So you NEED to bring spare flasks to every raid! So many times this has been said....So what happens last night. The usual culprit isnt raid ready AGAIN. Asking for flasks AGAIN. Then after myself and Nims saying 3-4 times over TS not to HS what do you do?....Not listen AGAIN and HS to SW and waste more of our time. It needs to stop....If anyone now comes to raids without their own flasks and you ask for one,you will be benched simple as that!

DPS: People have improved their dps but are still struggling on certain fights...Looking at logs last night 2 ranged are on 0dps serveral points of the fight yet 1 isnt so what is about?...Targeting issues again?...Im not going on about this for ages again you know who you are please get it sorted...Big praise goes to Pals here....you have asked on forum speaking to me Jas and Grimnar,you talk on TS! (yay we got 1 we need 2more now to talk) and it shows with your dps improving alot on certain fights. You still have problems on some fights but kitty's got nerfed, some fights you can get behind adds/boss..You have done your homework and this is what i want! :yahoo:

TS: /sigh. Once again eople still not talking on TS or listening.Thats all im going to say. Sharp said about it so did I and then Jas came in and talked to the raidgroup. Read the policies of DmR please. It was said last night and I will act on it...If you dont talk and especially dont REPLY by either talking or typing you will be out of the raid simple as that.

Sorry for the moan,i dont really like doing it but we have 1-2 players which are letting the grp down constantly and i get /w's from half the raidgrp moaning about said players...I want every1 to pull their weight and we will progress quicker than we are and we wont be as frustrated with each other...

In order to access the DMR log page you need to:
Register here: //www.worldoflogs.com
Apply to the Dead Men Raiding guild
Notify Tealeaf/Teaell that you have applied so that I can grant you upload rights to the guild's log pages

In order to USE the live logs facility:
Install the Loggerhead addon via Curse (which automatically turns on logging when you enter an instance - it asks you the first time then remembers your reply thereafter)

Download the Client from the WoL website (link is in the top right toolbar on the page)
Click on the client to run it and a three boxed window will open
Click 'Start a Live Report Session' - this will upload a single log after each try as soon as combat has ended.
When you have finished the raid simply close the three-box java window.

The first time you use the Client you will need to configure it first with your own details.  Client Edit>Preferences and then complete the pop-up window with your details.  Mine looks like this:

Completing the Preferences page will allow you to automatically upload to the DMR WoL web page.

You can also do manual uploads of logs after the raid, but you need to be completely out of WoW to do this, so I never use it as it requires more effort than Live Logs!

yup totally agree. ppl should pay more attention to stuff. macro's are really needed when something needs to be burned down very fast. I personally just use 1 macro that I keybinded, & just edit that macro for certain fights (sapper, tendon, bolt,..)

this + better communication from some ppl = quicker kills = :woot2:

Just wanted to throw out here that Spine is a fight where at times there's just nothing to do (specifically before the first Burning Tendon), as you're waiting for the Burning Bloods to spawn and die so you can stack the Amalgamation. Overall DPS numbers on that fight will also be significantly lower, simply because of its mechanics. Not saying the argument is invalid, but it's something to keep in mind when looking at Spine logs ;-)

I'd echo this.  On Spine, once the Amalgamation is down to the required level I nearly always sit there doing nothing other than waiting to handle the next grip.  Later in the fight this is less true as you then need ot burn the Amalgamation down faster, but in the early stages there will be lots of dps gaps.

first thanks for notice that I try :yahoo: its not that easy sometimes as melee. change of tacts, benched in certain fights.bla bla bla..  but I nvr ever show up to a raid without food or drinks. but then Im drilled in ICC by Jas Whitney and TL so might be that

and for the team feeling I think that our three big S doing fine.. Switch, Sharp and Sithy. works for me

an for the record:  us melee are suppose to hit the bolt too in the Deathwing fight. not only the range .. I just saw RGT take him down from a melee piont of view thanks to Torgen´s TV

Read and understood.
A few people do need to buy into the dmw concept of teamwork.
If you ask for a flask I will always have 1 but please return it. I am still waiting from last Wednesday for 1. I carry them for raid as back up not as presents.
If you have mains benched don't offer to bring in your alt to balance the group. Consider if you were in that position.
I answer when I make a balls up on TS as I often do, but I do try to learn from the feedback, it is a gift.
It would help me if others owned up questioned why, etc. Lets not take or make any of it personal
