Ops group layout for Tommorow night, apologies for delay, if anyone cant make it due to lateness of post this is completely understood.

Edited team make up due to absence of Dandelion, and Varg i take 2 just incase one dies as u saw with Krek'la on SOA last week, he picked him up and if we had been lucky we wuda gotten his shield down again

also its better to have one well geared tank and one not so well geared as even though its a gear boost essentiall we can gear up the 2nd one

I'm not fussed if i got rotated but i have shown interest from beginning to do karaggas :/, plus i suppose it's better to let main tanks such as me and you lurek to get a feel of the other OP to for when HM comes around and we get....a set group.

After seeing the fights on vids, I will be surprised if we don't clear this in one night. I still think the extra dps you get out of having just the one tank would be worth it, but in the end it is up to the OP leader. Having two lets you gear up the 2nd tank for when we do go hard mode, which is really what we are itching to have a go at. Normal mode OPs are just elevator music while you wait for everyone to get to the right gear level.

I am not speaking for Council / raid leader / Higher persons than me, sooooooo

1) Imhotep/sindri is one of the move active members, at least when I'm on
2) Most other current tanks are showing signs of wanting to take other roles (dps/heals)
3) AFAIK you're not in charge, or related to someone who is
4) AFAIK you're not in charge, or related to someone who is

I thought the last point was important so I said it twice.

Perspective: DMW WoW RGT was where I spent over a year as a tank.
During that time, the following bullet points are true, assuming all people are available:
With a raid progress boss (IE, group not killed @ level required) 2 coucil tanks took part, the sole exception when class mechanics dictated my class is the "chosen" tank.
(The exception being when 1 tank was away for a bit during a learning phase of the boss he was voluntarily relegated to last in the pecking order)
With a non progress boss, tanks were rotated with preference Whitey->Halbarard->TwistedDeath(me!) when loot needs were not even. Now it gets complicated as Whitey and Hal are normally available 3 days per week where I am only 2.
It gets more interesting as often Hal was taken into a DPS role and I was benched, although the reverse is also true to an almost even marginn.
It gets reaaaaally interesting  when I state I don't have a problem with this *most* of the time (DISCALIMER: I do when Whitey wants the HEROIC head, Hal wants the normal shield and I just want a class token [ I leave it to the reader to work out which bosses I'm talking about ]

Taking that all into account, here are the now bullet points

Vladic choice as Op leader is for this Weeks run is warranted.  As it  is a new Op not the Entirty Vault The Dark Council gets to see the rota before hand so we can see it all being fair and ask questions.

We are happy with the rota for this week.

Well this isnt WoW DMW RGT as far as i know.

I might not be online as much as imho but im online as much as i can.

If there is a decision im not happy/agreeing with i will question it.

And at the time i asked the question another tank was on the list and he hadnt been seen online for two weeks.

Why don't you both just drop your pants and get it over with?

Really, we have way more tanks then we can bring at the moment, and we always need spares of any role. Leave it up to the ones taking the time to actually lead these groups to sort the rotations. It will never be 100% fair, that just isn't doable, nor practical.

And for what it's worth, Tan puts in a hell of a lot of effort to gear up and be ready for content. I rarely notice the other tanks, but then I don't know them as well as I know Tan. For others it may be the other way around.

Now let's all hold hands and be friends again, and let the grown ups deal with the drama stuff <3

Everything aside, it would've been nice if I could go in as a DPS, but then again, tonight the 3D Star Wars is in cinemas, so I'm gonna see epic battle of Qui-Gon and Maul!

On that note, it would be much more usefull if we had the second tank specced as dps while gearing up in normal modes. If the tanks gear up with dps gear from FP HMs, and rotate on who has tank spec. They would still grab tank gear from OPs, but wouldn't limit dps of the group by being tank spec/gear "dpsing".

That is a whole other discussion though, and enjoy the worst SW movie ever in 3D btw
