As you may know I have spent the last few months hoping to move to PC gaming from my XBox 360 to save money (I need a PC for other things so selling the 360 would save some money). We are having to tighten the purse strings. Initially, the PC stuff didn't go well and to be honest there are still things I prefer about consoles.

But the bad news is that I have finally decided to get rid of the 360 so you'll be stuck with me. Sorry :D

Weirdly I feel more comfortable with mouse than gamepad in BF3. Never thought I'd say that. However I am selling my RAT 5 for a Logitech G700 as I would rather be wireless. Plus I ditched the keyboard for my 360 controller. So controller in left hand for movement and mouse in right hand. Might seem odd but I really like this. I'll never like keyboard but this is a great alternative.

Just need to find a decent driving game that supports 360 controller. I quite like Need For Speed World so will try some other NFS games.

Thursday my 360 was formatted and boxed ready to sell. Friday, my PC started playing up. BF3 kept disconnecting. SBK 2011 stopped responding to my 360 controller. I gave up and spent my weekend with the 360. I just love the simplicity and stress free nature of it.

Last time I tried PC gaming, to be honest, I didn't understand the point. This time I do get it. I see why you do it. I see why you prefer it. For me though its exclusives only now. Most week nights I am finally sitting down by 9-9:30. An hour of gaming before bed. No time for messing with PC.

As I say, I do get it. It's just not for me. I'm going grey and thinning as it is :D

I may get GW2 and Diablo 3 though.

My problem solving days are over. I don't need the learning curve to be honest nor the time wasted. Have to say I'm thinking my money saving idea might be better suited to selling the gfx card after another stress free evening on 360 bf3 and forza.  I'm probably the most casual of the casual gamers and need to accept I'm a console type and there is no breaking it out of me and I have tried.

I think it best I disappear now rather than go on moaning. I would like to try Diablo 3 and GW2 but I'm not sure I'm confident enough to buy any more pc  games or not.
