It looks like that the BG has a full group that is avail to play.

So what are we going to plan, a mixed group or BG with it own player group into normal palace?

At one point i don't mind a mixed group and try some hardmodes, as it is a nice learning thing for BG.
But with that comes that i think some BG players arn't geared enough yet for it.
Oterwise Bg will do a normal run to try to advance more into the palace.

Sounds good idea to me but as you say am not sure BG is quite there yet for hardmode.

is it 15k hp thats the benchmark for starting hm's? quite a lot of us got between 16 and 17k. The best would be to try a 16 man if we can get players for it, normal or hm, so that everyone gets to play

At 13,200 I'm certainly short of the mark. Need a few more normal mode runs for me.

I think that if Blue group has a full group, they should just have a normal run( as in their group, hard or normal is your choice) on Thursday.
I have used 15k health and 1500 main stat buffed as a benchmark ( about 14.4k health and 1340 unbuffed ) . 15k health is not needed for every fight but it is needed for Soa, Karagga, Bonethrasher and you are almost guaranteed to die on last 8% on Annihilator without it.

You should be ready for hard modes and you have spent about the same time as we did in normal. We only killed Soa and Karagga once on normal before we started hard modes and we spent about 4 weeks ( all 1 run a week ) on normal. You also have to remember that normal operations don't drop any loot that doesn't drop from Hard mode flashpoints.
It is easy for you to test this early on in the operation run, try Annihilator on hard mode, if you can get him into the last 8% before enrage in 2 or 3 tries, you should be able to get a kill. If you can kill Annihilator you should be able to completely clear EV to Soa(  Council might be a minor problem if someone is far behind in gear ). Hardest part for us in EV lately has been the turrets, now a days we have one tank on left turret, one on the adds and nuke the right turret. Then we take down the adds, then last turret and then the rest of the adds that have spawned.

Another thing you can try is go into hard mode after clearing normal mode instead of starting on karagga's if you have the time.

I've only been on one run through EV, which we didn't clear and half way through KP so I've not had a chance to get all the gear items (I gave up my slot to another in the first BG run) What's odd is I'm not finding it easy to get invited to hard mode flashpoints when I respond to LFM pug requests. maybe pugs don't like snipers? I'll probably have to wait till dMw run a few flashpoints and see if I can get on those, sadly wasn't picked for the last two I was online for. Just be patient eh  :D

The general problem for Flashpoints is finding a tank or to a lesser extent healer. Generally it is a DPS or 2 that are starting the guild groups so it becomes hard for DPS to get into groups if they are not starting them. Another tip is to be on TS since some people( specifically me, varg and DA) will start groups there when we are bored. You might also get someone to join that isn't in the game that way.
