OP Groups Merging

As we are having some issues recruiting and we have had some members leave, and new people only just starting Op runs, it has been suggested that we merge in to one group and run over several nights.


This will only be temporary until we have enough players that we can go back to the two groups or keep it and become a 16 man as has been suggested.  But we can see how that pans out.


There are some real positives it means that we will be running ops more regularly and we will be sharing knowledge and the skills among the two groups.


The nights Ops will be led by the OP leaders and shared among them all to reduce burn out.


We are thinking of 3 nights, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursday


Each night will be different 1 night for helping new people get gear and learn the tactics, 2nd night will be HM/NM mode and the final one will be progression.


We would need people to be able to attend some not all of the Ops so that people can enjoy all aspects.

Which as we have 2 groups seems a little light.


I hope that you can see why we have to do this and hope that you wil be able to commit as you already have done to have a great pair of Op Teams.

So to get more "bums on seats", is the expectation to turn up on time and then the decision is made to run a 16 man, or 8 man rotation based on numbers?
Or are we sticking to the current roster system?

right then tis fine by me as long as the ops continue i do not mind:D but we do need to ask ourselves one very very important question!

What the Hell do we call our Ops grp now? we cannot be known as Red Group and blue Group, we could call ourselves Purple grp as we are mixing the 2 grps. It has also been suggested that we call ourselves Brothertobious's slaves......well we all know all thought of that one:P

but i think we should think of a really good name maybe somthing like.... Ewoks Done It!

or somthing with words to that effect:P

We don't need a name other than Dead Men Walking if there's only one group.

To start it will be the rotation as you know we have some very new people to this. And we need to help them out.  But we also don't want to hold people back. As RG was basically on NM and new content. BG was nearing full BG.

But for this to work we need people to help out so doing lower level runs etc.  As well as the more challenging ones  thus why the 3 different nights.

We will try to recruit more people in to get the groups back or maybe start 16.  But it will need people to be there for Ops and give plenty of notice if they can't make it.  As we will make ever effort to get the rosters out with plenty of time.

Ranged DPS is always nice, but as we've shown Ranged DPS is not a fixed requirement. We just need to be faster, better and more Pro than the raid setup the encounters are designed for.

Is it possible to get a update on what tis going on please guys? as the suggested ops days are monday, tuesday and thursday...and monday is tomorrow need to know when, where, who if we going if we not etc etc.

No worries:D i know its a big thing to sort out:D luckily checked this morning and i'm free monday and tuesday nights, not sure about thursay this week some talk going to the cinema with the wife but wont know until tuesday if that is going ahead or not.

When will we start running ops again? im abit confused as some are complaining that ppl dont show for ops, but i havent seen a start list since, well a week or 2 ago, just wondering
