Got leave from work confirmed today

And will sort the tickets this week i hope, and Faust: give me a call when leave from work is confirmed so we can sign up the same flight

And guess kake is comming too, so he'll prob join on the flight talks also

I have more or less confirmed that I can take those days off work. Been looking into flights, and I can already see it will cost more this year than last :/

For departures after the LAN, what is a realistic time? Or rather would I have trouble making the early flights? My flights are either 10:00ish or after 20:00. Bah...

I'd really wish we could get the lan and room bookings up, so I can sort that before booking the flight. Those are a real pain to cancel if we suddenly discover there's no more lan space

Can people stop asking when they can book or saying they wish they could book i'm sure toby or anyone else involved with sorting this upcomming lan will let people know as soon as they know.

The booking form will go up imminently.

Toby has been away and he suggested putting up the list before he went but I wanted to confirm a couple of things with the hotel first.

As normal, there's no issue as we had it booked in a year in advance. They have all the rooms fully blocked out for us for the Thursday (bar 3 which were on a long-term booking), Friday (all rooms) and Saturday (all rooms). That's 42 Rooms (8 of which are twins). In addition, there are two suites (Lodge and Red Head) and a further six rooms which can be used as needed (a couple of which are single).

They will hold all the roooms until I tell confirm otherwise when they release them to others. The only risk is that someone signs up late for the LAN and the rooms have gone. It has happened on occasion but rarely.....

From our side, as Lionheart points out, we have a booking hierarchy in place. This opens first to our supporting members and our international members then previous attendees and then open to all.

Go ahead and book your flight - you're all set and booking will go live in the next couple of days.
