Too expensive. $135 for what is essentially a RaspPi with a remote control. The RaspberryPi can be sold for $35 (I'm planning on using mine when it arrives for something very similar to this...plus more), the remote I imagine can't cost much more so there's a hefty profit margin in there simply because of the form factor.

The price of things like this will drop dramatically in the next 2 years (and smart TVs will become the norm...who would buy a TV without it when the prices are so similar). I can't see this being the next big thing. I watched the video and was excited until I saw just how expensive it is. For comparison you can get a full tablet capable of running HD video for that price (battery, screen, internal memory and all) or for £135 you'll be able to get one packed with a Tegra 3 processor. At the other end of the table you can buy a USB media player for around £10 that will pump HD films from a USB drive to HDMI.

If they cut the price in half they stand a chance of selling some before their market dries up...

I gotta agree, bought a Raspberry PI and stuck RaspBMC on it, pumps out whatever i require of it..
