Can't wait to get my eyes around it once I get back in the country.

This dude is under-rated!
Seriously, I have yet to see a crap movie with either Gary Oldman or C Bale in! Any 1984 fan should watch Equilibrium ....

I'm a cheapskate for movies, so I'm waiting till this is in the sub £5 bracket @ Tescos.
But if it's still above my price, there's always the option of adding it to the Crimbo list :)

I took myself to see this on Monday morning - which I think might become my new favourite way to go the cinema - cheaper & empty.

Good end to the trilogy, but probably the weakest of the 3 for me, there was just too much going on, & as long as the film is I think another 30 mins filling out the middle of the film would make it better.

The biggest disappointment for me is the Warner Brothers will never have the balls to pick up with it where Nolan has left it & we'll have another full on re-boot & the same telling of the same story in a few years time.

TheDvEight

is there not going to be any more batman films made by Nolan then?

Nope, both him & Bale have said that this is there last.

Cynba

Think my expectations were too high, cause didn't really like it as much as the previous one. Too slow paced, made it bit boring sometimes & expected more from Bane.. Still a good movie but could've been so much better I think

TheDvEight

That sucks, Bale for me is the best Batman yet you look at all the past batman movies prior to bale & Nolans and there just cheesey imo.

Watched it last night and I thought it was a fairly good film, and ogling anne hathaway in a tight leather suit doesn't really hurt either :norty:
Maybe there\'s something to be said for being different. We are who we are. What more could we ask for?

Just came back from watching this I throughly enjoyed it sad to see the series end.

Warner Brothers have already stated that there gonna reboot the franchise, & with the success of The Avengers etc they'll be looking to do the same with Justice League - & with this version of Batman grounded in reality - people with super powers just wouldn't fit in right. So I guess they'll take a look at how well the new Superman goes & then look to do the rest of the films to tie in.

T-Bag

I expect they'll keep rebooting films as long as people keep watching them. Films are going more and more towards the realistic, since CGI has gotten to a point that just about anything is possible the public have started wanting the hero that is thrown through a wall or falls 50m to acknowledge it in some way.
Just as the James Bond series did I expect you'll see more realistic and more graphic violence becoming a feature.

People want to relate to the hero even if they are a billionaire playboy who puts on an expensive suit (Iron Man/Batman) or an Alien who has super strength and can fly (Superman).

I think the most boring film in the world would be a superman film where nobody finds cryptonite or gains powers comparable to his own.
Plot Outline:
Villain: "I'm going to do something naughty, I hope nobody stops me."
Superman: "I'll stop you with my strength that vastly out powers yours."
Villain: "Blast"
**REMAINDER OF FILM**
Slow motion/artistic shots of superman flying and occasionally zapping things with his heat vision.
Juggling Hard Disks over concrete floors ends in tears 5% of the time.

Just got back from seeing this at the bfi IMAX London after a three week wait to finally see it. Been sold out for weeks! Great movie but did you guys find it hard to understand banes speaking parts? Otherwise I was blown away by the size of the screen and the film quality.
