I think the camera man is about to get owned by the Police. I doubt he could qualify as a Jedi himself as he seemed more of a Ja Ja Binks to me. I imagine the Jedi order is usually gifted with wisdom and the camera man was clearly an complete plank! If you want to fail the attitude test with the police and give yourself a whole load more grief then that's the way to do it. I guess the issue was related to the guy filming at a busy Tube station during a period when the UK Terrorist Threat Level was rated 'Severe'.   Then again it's just a snippet of a conversation so who knows what had been said before. But that guy just seems to be just looking for a confrontation.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

One should be careful about snapping photos in the tube. People might  think you're a terrorist on a recon mission. Arguing with cops in the  tube is a properly bad idea as well. That might get you shot in the  face.

If I remember correctly, the cops are touchy about photos  of the london transit system, government facilities, landmarks or places  of assembly unless they have "artistic merit". If they look like  surveillance shots, you're screwed. At least there were some news  reports to that effect a few years ago, after the Met confiscated a  german tourists camera. Couldn't find the reference, but more on that  here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/7351252.stm
Pay close attention to the paragraph "under Section 44 of the Terrorism Act 2000, police officers may randomly  stop someone without reasonable suspicion, providing the area has been  designated a likely target for an attack." So yes, the officer does have certain powers.
