Tell us a bit about yourself! Who are you? Where are you from? How old are you? What kind of work do you do?
I'm 48 year old swedish mechanical design engineer that is working as a software developer since 10 years, go figure
Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
I'm a calm person, almost never lose my temper. I'm also very stubborn, if one thing dont work I come back another day to try something I figured out. My enjoyment, well it is really well designed. Has a good story, as good as it can in a MMO, plus I have made a lot of new freinds in it.
How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?
25+ years I think, All through Tetris, Leisure Suit Larry, Unreal Tournament, Need for Speed, Red Alert.
There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?
First reason is one and then another of my WoW freinds came here. Second you are a active guild so there will be people to get to know and play with.
What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?
I start from the end. Eternal, joined through Aylá who is a long term WoW freind of mine but that is more or less dying now. Before that Tranquil,. A Horde guild that made good progress for a semi casual guild but stopped playing around New Year when I got separated. And no, playing WoW had nothing to do with that in case you are wondering. Before that a bunch of different guilds that either died, I didnt really agree with how they went about their business etc.
Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?
Mariotet, a WoW freind from Lich King days and Aylá whom I got to know during TBC
Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?
Yes, read and understood. And agree. To lead raids and guild needs descision to not stop all things. As long as pointing out errors keeps to facts and not personal issues I'm totally in agreement.
What do you look for in a guild?
Fun, people to discuss tactics, specs or just general life matters with.
Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?
Yes, I have Pastorn. A SP that is in Eternal and some other Horde toons. Though Aylá and Mariotet have me on RealId so they can get hold of me
''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?
A guild that have been around a long time in WoW since I have seen that name around raid entrances and around the game world when I played Horde.
What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you?
Have fun is number one priority. But I do try to be serious, if you can put serious together with a game. When doing a raid making the most of my toon.
Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.
Hmmm, I do not really dislike things that much as miss some things. I did like the attunement for Karazan for example. It did test you a bit so you were prepared for things to come. Then to get attuned for TK, SSC, BT etc was over the top in my opinion.
A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
Depends on what he says. IF I have something to say I will say it. If it affects another guildie or another player I notify an officer or GM about it. What we do reflects on the whole guild.

Which evenings of the week are you available to raid?
Mostly every night of the week. Not that I want to raid every night but currently I have no steady appointments.
Can you and will you speak actively with other guild members on Teamspeak and in guild chat?
Of course, maybe not on every occasion but generally I do.
Do you have a stable internet connection?
Yes, I do. I live in an apartment in the city
What sort of frame rates do you get when raiding?
Hmmm, havent really checked but it havent been any problem for me.
What kind of raiding experience do you have?
My first raid was Karazan, did a few digs in Gruul, (mage tanked, mighty proud ), peeked inside TK but nothing else during TBC.
Did almost all raids during Lich King except later parts of Ulduar due the current guild I was in. All other raids after that is done.
If you are a cross-server applicant, name someone from your home server that can vouch for you.

Why did you decide to play this class?
I like mages, and sometimes not so much due to the RNG factor and right now I'm still a bit low on gear. I am currently waiting for my fourth T13 piece to drop to switch over. I really love the way mages play, dont make me explain why since I dont can't put my finger on it. I just do
What do you think your class' role is in raid content?
DPS primary, make food and buff intellect. And when Blizzard smiles at us some special fun, (mage tank) And I also enjoy when we need to crowd control, interupt a certain spell or spellsteal a certain buff :norty:
Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)

I like fire mages how the play currently. I dont play Arcane since I got so very much bored of that style. My second build is frost at the moment. I know it's not top DPS but it's fun. If needed I would of course respec. But I do read forums and test out gear and builds on Dummies.

All of this being said I'm not expecting a raid spot. I would like to get one of course but it isn't something I'm expecting as said.

Regards a raid spot we dont have a free spot at the moment tho as they come along we always prefer get people in from the community
