Dear DMR,

I am applying for raiding.

Bit about me,

My name is Jack I am from England, Kent im 20 and i am a freelance graphic designer and photographer.
I see myself as a friendly, easy to get along with kind of guy.  I always go out of my way to help people in and outside of WoW, and i enjoy WoW because its just my kind of game, its competitive, fun and sociable.
I started out playing the call of duty series on xbox 360 about five years ago but before that i used to play a few minor games on pc like dawn of war, but i started playing WoW about two and a half years ago and loved the game so i stuck with it.

I have been in other guilds on this server but none of them have really struck me, i have been looking on various websites and researching a good guild to join for social, fun and raiding and this guild struck me so i thought i would give it a good shot and maybe i could get in.
I have been in a few smaller level guilds that have now closed but my most recent and current guild is midlife crisis, but i want to move on from this guild because as much as they are nice guys and all they do not take raiding seriously which is a disappointment, So im deciding to move on.

I don't know anyone from this guild but hopefully i can do in the future,

I have read the "What we look for" and the "philosophy", let me say that in all of my time on WoW i have never found such a strong guild that I believe I would fit so well in.  I think that your "what we look for" is really good and you philosophy is quite literally unique :)

When i look for a guild I always look out for maturity because otherwise i find that the guild messes arounds allot in raids and nothing gets done, the second thing i look for is people i can strait away get along with (i find this is nice so that you can maintain a good friendly standard when raiding with them)

I have two alts that i play quite allot called "Sleia" which is a Night Elf Boomkin and "vanex" which is a dwarf priest (currently levelling)

When i think of the name "Dead Men Raiding'' I think of an undead apocalypse of righteous raiders

I'm a nice and friendly hardcore raider who can take a joke :)

I dont like the small kids talking crap and complaining about useless things, how immature some people are.

If a Guildie says something offensive to me i would find out why they would say it or just put them into my ignore list, if it gets extreme then tell a Guild master

The cake is a lie so pie :D

Raid Application,

I am available to raid on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Weekends

I am vey active within my guild and will carry on to be very active in any guild i join, I also have a good mic and internet connection so talking in Teamspeak is always ok for me.
My internet speed is 30 MB fibre optic

My frame rate when i rade differs between 51-60 fps

My raid attendance is around 98% - 100%

I have done ICC 10, ICC25 and ICC10 HC, DS LFR DS10 Normal and working on DS10 HC 1/8 at the moment as i previously mentioned my guild messes around allot which is why i want to move on.  I learn tactics very quickly and preform to my best posible standard.  I pull damage nicely but i also know when to slow my dps in order to survive and preform tactics so that we as a team get the kill.

I prefer casters/range to melee any day because i personally think they are more fun and i loved the idea of training wild animals to be your pets.

My class's role is high movability and taking out adds from a far to help with the group so the melee can stack on boss without having to run back and forth.

Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)

My build is Survival 3 - 7 - 31  Ill start by saying i find the way i have built my talents really help me on my damage, when it comes to AOE survival hunters are very good with their multishot ability with the "serpent spread" talent so that it not only hits multi targets at once it also applies serpent sting to every one of them which make the damage insane.  The reason i chose Survival was because of the 4.3 patch which made survival hunters very powerful, but before hand i was Marksman on the old cataclysm patches but i found that my movement was not as much as what i can now do in raids.  Beast Mastery spec i sometimes use if im with a few mates in a arena having some fun with a spectral pet, i have tried using this in raids also and i know that a couple of people do use this as a raid spec but its just not for me.

With my survival spec i use the Prime Glyphs "Glyph of serpent sting" "Glyph of arcane shot" "Glyph of explosive shot" and for my secondary Glyphs i use "Glyph of trap launcher" "Glyph of mending" (for my pet) "Glyph of immolation trap" and finally for my Minor Glyphs i use "Glyph of feign death"
I find that these Glyphs benefit me and my pet the most which is why i continue to use them.

Thank you for your time on reading this

Hope to hear from you soon

Nice application but I'm afraid we can't offer you a raid spot at this time as we have no hunter spots available. We'd be happy to have you in as a social member if that's of interest?

xaeven

you were the guy who referred me :) and im sorry but ill stay with my guild i think because i want to continue to raid with them, because as i said they are nice guys but just sometimes dont take it seriously.  I still like your guild allot for what you stand for so hopefully we may meet in the future :) anyway thanks.
