This seems to be a relatively simple fight.  I think the most impotrant thing to note from RGT's attempts yesterday are that you need A LOT of DPS on the mutated players.  When they interrupt their Amber Explosion it causes the loss of 20 Willpower so you'll need your DPS to always be ahead.  Secondly, the Amber Monstrosity's Amber Explosion can be healed through, so if you're not near the boss at the time he's casting it's not the end of the world.

JonnyAppleSeed

Ill try to set up some Healing cd rotation for the Amber Monstrosity's Amber Explosion... I think we still have many fumbled interrupts ahead of us and a bit of a safety net will not be wasted.

I was not there yesterday, but I found a little piece of advice on mmo-champ, the bolded part was also bolded in the original post:

Quote1) As soon as living ambers come up have DPS spread them out and put some damage on them
2) Your first tank will turn into a construct within 5-10 seconds, once he does everybody DPS him down to 20%, once the tank can break out hop back on ambers and put damage on the boss
3) Repeat steps 1&2
4) Monstrosity should be out by now (70% boss HP), all DPS hop on him while taking out any spare ambers, NOBODY SHOULD BE ATTACKING THE BOSS IN THIS PHASE (99% reduced dmg buff)
5) Have people that get turned into constructs not fail at interrupting the monstrosity (with the "1" key) and themselves (with the "2" key)
5.5) If you are turned into a construct RIGHT CLICK the boss. Your auto attack damage is very important.
6) Have everybody hop on the people that are turned into constructs and bring them down to 20% asap.
7) Make sure that everybody that has been turned into a Construct has interrupted the monstrosity once (watch DBM timers ftw)
8) Phase 3,Lust immediately, the beginning of the phase you will have the most people not turned into constructs, burn the boss down and people who are turning into constructs should be spamming "1", interrupting themselves with "2" and drinking an amber pool once they are at 20 energy with "3"
8.5) If you need to drink, drink more then 1 pool so you spend less time running back and forth between the boss and the pools, and therefore more time auto attacking.
9) Collect loots
10) /flex

Aura works good.

NOTE FOR PRIESTS:
Do not spec into Angelic Bulwark for this fight as it procs even when you are a construct, meaning your HP gets stuck at 30% and you die as the DPS have another 20% HP to dps through in order to release you.   GG Blizz

How bleedin' stupid can you get.

By the looks of my dps it seems that the auto attack ability used once you are mutated (called Smash in the logs) doing the highst amount of damage. So here is a macro just to make sure that the mutated person will auto-attack the boss:

If you keybind this macro, it'll target the Monstrosity in P2 and the Boss in P3 and start the auto-attack. Cuts back on a little of the construct hassle. (Tested and confirmed working as intended.)

/tar boss1
/tar boss2
/startattack

Paste it exactly as posted (Boss1 and Boss2 are actual unit IDs). One press will target the appropriate unit, i.e. if the Monstrosity exists, the macro will cycle from the Boss to the Monstrosity immediately.

Midd

Great macro Guru, I'll be using that on Sunday to save the targetting time.

Another point worth noting is the amount of time you have in p3 to attack before you need to drink pools.  I found that interrupting two of your own Amber Explosion's will leave you with around 30 willpower, you then have time to go out to drink 2 pools.  That should return you to around 70 - 80 willpower by the time you get back to the boss to continue auto attacking.  It's extremely important in p3 that we keep ourselves alive in the Construct, as once you're dead the Construct will start to attack other players and they hit very hard!

Slush

Icy-veins.com on phase 3:
The only added mechanic is  Volatile Amber. Un'sok will regularly cause one of the amber pools located around the edges of the room to explode. This fires a barrage of amber shards at the raid, which strike the first player that they come into contact with. When striking a player, it deals a moderate amount of Nature damage to them.

If the Mutated Construct is hit by Volatile Amber, it is healed for 20% of its maximum health.

It is important to avoid  Volatile Amber healing the Mutated Construct, if you are trying to help players exit the Constructs. Your raid members will have to shield the Mutated Construct with their bodies, so that the amber shards from Volatile Amber hit them, and do not reach the Construct.

I have not been paying too close attention to DPS targets in phase 3. Are we killing 0, 1, 2 or 3 constructs before nuking boss?
If we are killing 0, then we can pretty much ignore what I linked from Icy-veins.
I think the easiest would just be full burn on boss (kill 0 constructs) to lower the time we spend in phase 3 to an absolute minimum. Healing in phase 3 is pretty insane.

TeaLeaf

+1 for the macro, copied and installed.    Even with focus set, targeting on this boss fight is a royal pain in the arse, so the macro is a win.

Tip:
Make sure you have player debuffs turned off for when you are a construct (I had mine set to ON and your screen literally explodes with this huge list of debuffs as the raid dps's you)

Weak Auras:
-TOP & BOTTOM bars are the actual cast bars.  When they cast then hit your interrupt (1 for the top cast bar, or '2' for your own cast)
-DBM gives an audio count down for YOUR cast, not for the boss cast, so when you get the audio countdown you get ready to press '2'
-BOSS cast is best to listen for the 10 sec warning, do not use '1' until boss casts, then interrupt
-the red bar marked Boss Interrupt is NOT telling you to interrupt or counting down until when you need to press '1', it is simply telling you that you have already pressed '1' and that you cannot for another 'x' seconds.  I ended up ignoring it and the simple bar at the bottom for your own interrupt

Summary:
Press 1 to interrupt boss
Press 2 to interrupt yourself

We are not killing any constructs in phase 3 so this part can be ignored.

4 abilities that the Mutated Construct has, one generates Willpower, one costs Willpower, while the other two neither generate Willpower, nor cost any.

Lets put some maths in this:

Button #1 called Amber Strike (Debuff the boss + interrupt the boss KABOOM) = Cost 0 Will Power / 6  seconds CD
Button #2 called Struggle for Control (Interrupt your own KABOOM + increasing your damage taken by 100% for 5 sec) = Cost 8 Will Power / 6 seconds CD
Button #3 called Eat Amber (gain 20 will Power) = Cost NOTHING!
Button #4 called Break Free (only usable @ 20% or below) = Cost 0 Will Power

So here is an interesting math for p3:

Start = 100 willpower, rate of decay 2/sec = 50 secs max.
Eat one pool for ease, so thats + 20 willpower aka + 10 secs.
There are always 3 explosions in that time frame, the last occurring near the end, so 8x3 = 24, 120 - 24 = 96.
96/6 = 16. 16/2 = 8.

Also here is an intersting fact about the auto-attack:

the constructs can hit for well over 1M per strike averaging 1.5M per strike (and a 287M crit!), and 500k melee hits in P3....  They're literally the most important mechanic in the encounter.

DBM has a lot of waaaaaaaay too much going on in this fight with castbars and timers. And at the moment we have too much information. Lets untick CDs and casts bars for:

Fling
Parasitic growth (your/healers UI will show the debuff either way)
Amber Scalpel
Massive Stomp (everyone but melee, pherhaps?)
Volatile Amber (the phase 3 ability)

Some will argue that they need this information and they should of course not untick these. Removing as much information (that you dont really need) as possible makes it easier to see the important stuff, which at the moment is:

Amber Explosion!

Bonus tip; Paladins can use Hand of Purity on any party members that has less than 6 secs left of parasitic growth.

Indeed Slush, DBM has so many bars for this fight. For me I just disabled everything but Amber Explosions ( 2 bars, one for normal phase and the other for p2) and it works great for me.
