Also, (as Toby pointed out to me) they are dropping the £35 "Lifetime Expansion pack" from sale (29th July) and going to a per expansion model.

So I added that to my £20 Early backer Kickstarter :coolio:.

While I was on there Toby forced me to buy one of the £3.50 pin badges. I was expecting to see a £5 p&p pop up, but it came up as £0.00.
Not a bad price at all for a little pin badge.

So, updated with todays Newsletter info, here's the prices for those finding it a little complex.


Elite Dangerous = £35
Elite Dangerous Lifetime Expansion Pack = £35 (until 29th July, then per expansion pricing model)

And while he was no way near me or talking to me LIB made my purchase the life time expansion pack to go along with my new TrackIR5

For those of you not wanting to fork out for the Premium Beta but you already pre-ordered the final game ..... £15 now additional to get on the beta!

Well worth it in my opinion. Just getting to grips with the games new features now and it's much fun, joystick essential, track ir optional but beneficial !

Yesterday, I went to the Dead Men front page and realized that there was a Teamspeak channel for Elite now, and there where people in it!
I ran down and fired up TS and Elite to have my first Elite multiplayer game night.

We where 4 people there for a couple of hours, running trading and generally getting to know the game. Albert had created a Private group so we where like in our own server (but with NPC's of course)
It was great and I hope to do it as often as I can in the future. Everyone please join, and go tell the 40+ in the SC camp too.
