Well, the demo ran so slowly it was hard to judge :(

They've got some serious tweaking to do...

DarkAngel

Just starting to dl the demo for it now gonna take a few hours tho must be a big file. Ive just dl'd the intro looks ok but doesnt say wow to me didnt like the choppers for a start sigh but i wont judge it till ive played the demo.

Um tried running the demo comes up with a message saying engine requires a graphic card with at least a  1.1 pixel shader. Anyone got the same message ive got a gf4 mx440 agp8x i guess thats the reason i am upgrading in a week or so tho....

Tutonic

This is a very, very dissapointing game. Not even a mere shadow of its former self. Everything about it screams to me that they've "dumbed down" for the Xbox crowd.

Massive text, big clunky HUD, not to mention the complete lack of the skill system which made the first game such a challenge.

Avoid like the plague.

Yep .. really stinked up the place.
The controls where sooooooo bad. I mean a single button to pick up stuff.. why not have you character do it automaticly like every other game out there.

Bad character models, not awsome graphics (good but not special), and most of all stupid AI, and worse scripting.
I didnt like it one bit.. played for 5 mins then shut down computer in frustration of the bad game...

Everyone is wrong. This is a wonderful game (assuming you have a PC beefy enough to play it.)

It is NOT however, Deus Ex 2, but an entirely new game. And the demo or a cursory half hour stab is not nearly enough to form a clear picture of what this game is about. This game evolves as you move through it. There are so many choices to make once past the linear starting levels, so many styles you can play and so many subtle ways you can develop your character it's breathtaking.

I can't be buggered to explain why this is such a great game as I'm too busy playing it. All I can suggest is that you either go and buy it to find out, or read the review in the latest copy of PC Gamer (Jan issue) which hits the nail smack on the head.

Would I lie to you? Would I? Don't answer that!

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Don't know if anyone is still playing this game but I threre is a DVD version of the game, which just came out in some countries. It's 2.4 Gb, while the CD version was 1.5 Gb. This one has the movies in DVD quality, and game sounds are better as well.

Just wanted you to know.

demos often lie, I wasn't too impressed by it, the full game is superb, with a Radeo 9800 Pro, 512MB PC3500 RAM and a 3GB+ AMD chip.  ;)
