F2P? & anyone still play?

I hear this is F2P? (Free to play) this correct? & Who still plays.

Yes it is already for a while free to play.

I play it from time to time. Although if you are used to have a lvl 50 toon and stopped playing before f2p then my advise would be if you want to play for free, start up a new character as you will find your lvl 50 character unplayable.
I love the pvp in that game and tried it on my level 50 with f2p status and it was horrible as i missed at least 2 full bars for all my stuff.
If you are a subscriber you have everything ofcourse, and also now you have cartelpoints, that you can use to buy or unlock stuff.

Also on a sidenote, this spring the first real expansion will come out, lvl cap to 55 with 1 whole new planet.

For those that stopped around the time i did, the game as improved big time, pvp is awesome again although 2 certain classes are a bit overpowerd but for the rest it is nice.

I've been thinking of playing this F2P. Heard that you couldn't use some higher gear and such. That might be your problem Ice.
There also seems to be a cap on running or something?
Survivor of LAN V, VI, VIII, IX, X, XII, XIV, XVI, XVIII, XX, XXIV, XXX, XXXII, XXXIV and XXXVI so far...

Nah i don't have any probs with the f2p ;)  as i am a subscriber.

yeah some high lvl gear (artifact gear) is locked for f2p, but they can unlock it. Your character can have the ability called sprint, when out of combat you will run faster. this is unlocked for f2p players as soon as there toon hits lvl 15.
For prefered status and subs, they get it at lvl 1. There are also limits on how many flashpoints, warzones etc. a f2p can do a week.

But yeah it is something you can expect for a f2p game with a subscripe option.

If you might like it then yeah try it out. There have been loads of dMw that played the game before, who can tell you alot about it. There are still a few that pop on from time to time like myself.

Yeah I don't plan on avidly playing this but should be interesting to put some hours in on it.
