I played BF3 since november, approximately. I din't pay much attention to type of guns. Just chose the M16, as I've seen that on TV (I play mostly assault, engineer in a pinch because of the C4 and mines....). Only other gun I used is the shotgun (the one with a big drum on it).

As I played I got them sights and addons to the gun. So, when I have put in countless (COUNTLESS) hours of play, I realised I like the AEK gun much (MUCH) better....

so it is back square one to iron sights and slugging out them kills to get my holo sight, laser sight, etc.

IE: You won't get rid of me soon :narnar:

Good to hear. I prefer the AEK-971 also. Really good for long range shots aswell.

BTW, you need 7 more kills with the M16A3 for the service star. It's just some extra points and such but easily managable.
Also, go on TDM-servers for some faster kills (or get killed) and offcourse Friday-evenings: the dMw-server!

After some hectic playing on a few TDM servers riddled with bunnyjumpers and campers, I finallly got enough kills to get back my foregrip, reflex sight and heavy barrel. I still have some left until laser sights and such, but I'm now ready to kick (ha!) all your shiny behinds on the dMw server!!! :devil:

However, this evening I am afraid I have to pass, because my wifey has decided this is a good evening to have dinner with those friens we hardly ever see (now, there is a reason why we never see them, I told her, ahem - no joy, wifey has made her mind up).

So, see you all on the server. Soon.

Yep, saw that. I don't mind the points, but I'd like that star... I'll hop on the server as soon as I have the time, and I'll give you seven headshots in a row. That should do the trick.

Then I'll switch to the AEK, and continue. Say, do you want to have the shots in the back or in the head ? I ask because the AEK have a different caliber than the M16.

Got the service star for the m16a3. Switched to the aek, got me 80 kills now. only 10 left for the laser... looooove that gun. I do like the m16, but the recoil is to heavy.

What gun you lot use for Enginner? I have a hard time sticking to one.

I mostly play assault. But when I do dabble in other classes, I use the shotgun (the one with the big drum, shoots fast but reloads slow).

A-91 for close to mid range.
MP7 for short range.
