Embolist's ready to use, Synapse is on its way. And man, did it hit my mutagen samples stock... =)

albert

Superb thanks, I was watching for the Embolist completing, I would have contributed, 65 mutagen samples! I've got 40 I can contribute to the sentinal and I also started crafting the last weapon with another 25.

On another note, I crafted the Stug, it's awesome. Also the Flux seems good but I'm confused on what enemies it'll work on. It never seemed to make any difference on Jackal. I made the acrid as well just to see what all the fuss was about, the Stug seems better. I also have the Tetra in progress. Duvel has Oberon in progress as well.

Anyone up for a Defence mission this evening, something where we can give the newer guys some good loot? (And me a Banshee Helmet if it turns up :) ).
Cheers, Bert

How many people do you have playing Warframe at the moment?

5 regulars and 7 (OB and Sparko) in the clan in game. Possible 1 more to add (Dannage).

I'd say when we get to 8 regulars we have a decent chance of staying with this game in dMw.

I've not fished for clan members in game. Only looked out for those who want something similar to our community aims.

I feel we could expand quickly if required but the longevity needs to come from within the community.

If I recall right, it deals mostly slash damage. Jackal is shielded robotic, so not the best pick against him... then again, polarize it a couple of times, put mods in all the slots and it'll punch just about anything.

I often wonder with the new 2.0 damage system if adding impact or puncture to a weapon like the Flux which has zero of either will make any difference. I normally add  the 90% electric elemental and wildfire to make radiation.

Synapse is ready! Thanks Badchi. Can't believe it I'm short of circuit boards. Titans deployed.

Let us know if it develops to the need to move to a separate forum section and we'll make it so!

Damn, I'm in love with this Synaps thingy. 100% crit chance with 3rd level Point Strike mod (and 130 - with fully maxed which is even weird) kicks ass!
Though it wont bite that hard until polarized a couple of times...

A message from The Lotus:
Tenno,
Weeks ago we received intel about a Corpus raid on a little-known independent research facility near Eris. The Corpus made off with a scientific jackpot, the formulation of a rediscovered experimental Orokin alloy called Oxium. This lighter than air alloy has already been deployed in a new drone dubbed the Oxium Osprey which forgoes its support role in favor of dynamic attacks.

With this new drone The Corpus think they have gained the upper hand but we will use this development to our own ends. Oxium could be the cornerstone of new Warframe design but first we need to research its properties. Go into the field, take out the new Ospreys and bring back the Oxium. You will be rewarded for your efforts.

-Lotus
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO DO
- You will receive a message from the Lotus with a single objective - collect a new crafting resource called Oxium (an Orokin alloy).
- This new resource can be found by hunting for the Oxium Osprey - a new enemy with unique behavior. The Oxium Osprey can be found in any Corpus level set. Select Corpus containers may also contain Oxium.
- Follow your individual progress bar to see how much Oxium The Lotus requires you to collect.
- Once you have fulfilled the objective, The Lotus will contact you to congratulate you and provide you with your reward.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- This Operation is on now until February 5 at 12 PM EST.
- Once you have successfully completed the Operation, it will disappear.
- Any Oxium collected in addition to The Lotus’ requirements will remain in your inventory to be used towards the crafting of new Warframes and future weapons.
REWARD
Successfully complete the mission and you'll be rewarded with:
- The new Aviator Mod - offers reduced damage while airborne
- A 3-Day Affinity Booster

Go forth and collect, Tenno!

EDIT: The Oxium Ospray gets dropped mostly by one of those floating thingies that strengthens the normal mobs.

Did you watch the TITS mod video about it? 3 Forma it doles our 50K damage for a headshot. Takes down lvl 150 Napalm Grinear in 3 seconds. That's insane. I've got it to about lvl 15 with a catalyst and it's pretty hardcore already.

I really need to find Split Chamber, seems all the best load outs need that. I think a T3 Corpus Defence is in order. On a positive note, Sneaky and I did 30 lvls defence last night and got the Banshee Helmet finally!
