Personally, after reading Patch 5.2 PTR and Patch Notes - February 25

This is probably my biggest joy:
  • Running the Master Plow across underground Virmen will cause them to pop out of the ground at 30% health and stunned.
  • Wild Crops will now occur less often.

I still think farming is going to be a chore. I've seen Blizzard make big changes to WOW to make it more fun and less of a grind. Obviously they're not there yet as there are still parts of the game that are a pain.
I sort of assumed that as I gained maximum rep with members of the Tillers I would get automated tools that would fix the farm chores. We have a water sprinkler system and an insecticide system so why not something for virmin and weeds. It would have been better for each Tiller to provide a tool or machine that automated fixing the farming tasks. Then when all the rep had been gained we could have a pain free farm. As it is I find farming to a be a necessary chore that has to be done to get cooking resources. Yes I could buy them but the idea of a farm is a good one it just needs to be more fun.

I look forward to spending my valor points and upgrading weapons etc before the patch to give me the best ilevel I can obtain for the 5.2 raid content (which btw is looking pretty awesome from what I have read).

Oddbal

I look forward for new abilities for the monk and the new quests and raid content :)

Sharpfang

ive looked a bit on the new valor rewards, the 522 neck u can get for 1250 valor at neutral, the next is a 522 ring for 1250 iirc on friendly.
both of these items are bound to the new shado pan rep, and im guessing u might be able to get to friendly on the first week, maybe 2nd.
item upgrade will dissappear at least for the time being, so might be worth spending 750 on that on an item u wont replace for a looong while,
and save the rest for the items

Sithvid

The new raid grounds looking nice and Trying to get back 40k in gold that I have spent since Mop came in.
Only 2 things are unavoidable

....which is why I am upgrading that to 2/2 before the patch.  I'll have over 250 VP left, so that allows me to pick up something from week 1.

Did the same thing on mine yesterday ilvl 511 feels alright. Rest of VP is going to the bank now for neck, wrist, trinket and ring.
Shado-Pan Assault dps trinket looks amazing from ele shamman pov.

Edit; Also looking at some drops, it looks like weapons drops from bosses 7 and 9. Unconirmed yet, but history has shown us that they usually drop late in the tier.

I'm definitely NOT looking forward to the rather heavy blade flurry nerf.
Its the main reason I diverged in to assassination.
on that note Dispatch is getting a buff so it should feel like the execute move it was designed to be :D

VP is my problem.  1000 a week is rubbish. Yes have a limit as I remember the days when pvp rep wasn't capped and some people were playing almost 24/7 trying to max out.  But 1000 is a joke. A full set of dailies,  the LFR's and some heroics (for non raiders) isn't a huge time commitment but the VP cap is miserly 3000 a week would be much better. And for people can only play a few nights a week (me) reputation gear is a major pain to get.

Devlan

Let's see, where to start.

I'm looking forward to owning Sunsong Ranch and having my Hearthstone set to my favorite zone in Mists.
I'm looking forward to earning reputation through a random heroic and random scenario and Sunsong Ranch Work Orders.
I'm looking forward to the story being advanced, learning more about Jaina and her Kirin Tor Offensive. (I'm a Mage, I gotta keep track of the Kirin Tor)
I'm looking forward to the new Battle Pets and Battle Pet Quests.
I'm looking forward to the daily Fishing stuff.
I'm looking forward to grinding out all the Mantid Archaeology stuff.
I'm looking forward to getting my Raptor Mount, as one of the first people on the server. (hopefully)
But MOST OF ALL, I'm looking forward to taking down the Thunder King with all you wonderful people! LET'S KICK SOME ASS! YEEEAH!!
