Tried and tested:

M16A3: Like it, a bit recoil
AEK971: Excellent allround weapon, at least with the 3.4x zoom
Spas12: Overrated, to slow between shots
Dao12: Excellent, fires FAST, but reloads slow (still my favourite shotgun, though)
Magnum: Very powerful, but I usually need two or three shots to hit....

CoolHand: Lots of shooting, less hitting. But I do have the suppression skill..

I have to say that the Spas12 is a brilliant weapon. If you add the flashlight to it, in close quarters it's a surefire winner. The spead of fire is a rhythm that can take a we bit of getting used to.

The magnum is lethal and again has a rhythm to it. Put a scope on it and you can get headshots from medium range. It does have a big recoil so inbetween shots can take a bit to refocus your aim.

As DD has said. Keep up the practice and experiment with different scopes.

For example put a 6x scope on the Scar L and it becomes a great weapon to snipe with. Changing the rate of fire to a single shot adds a lot to your accuracy.

Hmmm....

Yeah... What I'm doing now is to get some more points with the AEK, to get the 6x scpope. The Dao12 is OK for me in close quarterst, with or without scopes (actually best without as I mostly fire it from the hip). And I have the Famas, which I use now and then in close combat and to collect some points to get a reflex sight.

And that is enough work for quite som time.

ANyway, I DO have fun playing. Im not a good shot, never was, but hey, you never asked for skill, now did ya...?

Tbh I often get annoyed at myself for choosing what I deem as a poo gun I'm still finding my feet and finding guns that are effective for a specific class/task.

If in doubt ask over team speak I think it was DuVel/Ninja/Arithon? who I asked a couple weeks back what gun should I use with engineer & followed that and haven't changed since.

I also think you cant just pick/use for favorite gun for every single map because each have their strengths/weaknesses which are almost put under the microscope on maps.

Also don't forget that you can get some nice weapons through the COOP.

The guns I use:
Assault: AEK-971, L85A2, AN-94.
Engineer: G36C, G53.
Support: PKP PECHENEG, M240B.
Recon: M40A5, L96 and some times for indoorfun the SKS.

But I do have spsific usess: Shotgun or Famas for close action (depending how close the action is), AEK as the all round assault rifle - scoped when needed, M16 when I am tired of the AEK.... pistols, just staring to use them as sidearm when ammo runs out...
