I am sorely tempted to do the boring stuff this week and just clear normal for gear ups.

We've got a warlock & mage needing normal gear and I think RGT would benefit more through ensuring we have cleared all content this week, than by spending lots of time on heroic progression which 24 hours later will become irrelevant.

My preference would therefore be to not try Heroics (other than short time on Elegon) and then clear everything else on Normal.

I was sitting there last night thinking the same thing and was about to bring it up tonight before the raid. ye perhaps spend 3ish tries on hc Elegon and if we not killed it by then move and just clear the place so we got it all cleared and hopefully alot of people get the gear they want

Perhaps do it the other way around?   Go finish HoF normal first, then come back to MV for HC Elegon & Will, that way we're certain to have enough time to finish the job and have maximised the gear we get for the best chance at HC Elegon again.
