N42 used to have a really active CS server. However, it is more active with Ghost Recon and BF1942 at the moment.

It's is truley a great PCS or Professional gaming place. Great community too!

Lately though the CS server is mostly empty. Too bad as it has a number of good maps that we'd like to bring over here.

All you newcomers to dMw should also apply there imho. Their map packs are rather huge but worth the DL time. They have a slightly different approach to PCS than dMw has but it is in most cases the same.

N42 is good if you want to play PCS into the early mornings (if you live in Europe).

The full N42 map packs (and a shed load of other maps) will be on the server at the LAN this weekend - take advantage of it if you are there and take a copy - it will save you days of DL time

i figure a good time to check is about 10pm onwards but no joy

Nope, N42 is dead. It happened right after I left.

Seriously, there haven't been any serious action for months. Sad actually, it used to be a great server for PCS with many participants.

I think activity dropped after the Europeans started to realise there are more people playing here at reasonable hours. I think you'll still get a game if hang around there later in the night.......post midnight

after midnight for a game would be great for me as this working night shift thing is piss poor for getting a good game.. i can usualy find a game in the USA some place if i finish aroubd 5:30

pitty about the n42 server..ill have to play ghost recon on nights 8O
