T's may not go further than the top of either stairway leading to the CT spawn level.

hmmmm...that's about it for this map I think (flame retardent jacket on)

BUMP!

I am tired of being shot by Ts crouched on the top of the stairs to left of CT spawn.

And while we are at it, I had forgotten that Ts are not allowed in office end of building :(  I have to take note of that one too

TeaLeaf

I think that last one is just an error in the boundary drawn on the map.  The intention was not to pen the Ts in to any area other than the indoors where the hossies are.  That makes the office OK in my book.....

I refer the honourable gentleman to the answer I gave some moments ago.

It included the words 'error', 'in', 'the', 'boundary', 'drawn', 'on', 'the', 'map'.
See if you can't rearrange them into a sentence eh?

   Sorry me tired.

the thing to watch for is people shooting out of the windows into ct spawn......you need to give ct time to get a plan together..and a safe area to fall back to

I gave them plenty of time last night. hehe that was a funny game  :D

It makes things simple if you just remember that Ts are not to exit any windows or descend any stairs. Oh and DO NOT shoot into CT spawn.

Surely its perfectly realistic though to snipe into spawn. I can imagines Ts looking outta windows for oncoming CTs! Due to APC position and window positioning accurate and penetrative fire into the spawn is very limited and often ineffective and dangerous as being able to do it requires you to expose yourself to such a degree that you are an easy target...

I think Oldie was trying to point out that sniping into spawn at the start of the round is a little unfair.  If the CTs want to use some time to draw up and agree a plan, then they should have it without risk of being sniped when still in spawn.   Later in the round, for example when hossies are being returned to spawn, then I think it is legitimate as you are stopping the hossie extraction.

As for the Ts in the windows, I'll ask a question:  If they are an 'easy target' whilst in the window then surely their 'bravery' is actually mis-placed stupidity? Particularly as the opportunities to shoot are limited as you describe?  Would it therefore not be more sensible to avoid the risk and protect the hossies from a more defensive position?

As for the limited firing opportunity, I actually think that the APC is an assistance to the Ts here as most CTs come round through a very narrow gap between the APC and the wall, making them unwilling participants in a fairly easy duck shoot.

Of course, the problem never arises when the CTs get out of spawn quickly, but I believe that you should always dictate the pace of the map yourself, never let the map dictate it for you.  With this in mind I think sniping into spawn makes the map dictate the timing and that is not the way it should be.

yeah sure but CTs could always nip around the corner to plan their attack! And if they are sitting in spawn as u suggest you can only see a couple of the spawn points and so only a couple of the CTs, by the time you ahve shot one surel the rest willa ll be laerted and take cover/return fire?
My point about being an easy target - surely that is a natural deterrent to sniping out of the windows - if you are prepared to take the risk then surely its your call - provided of course you are still playing tactically.

Still the majority are obviously gonna disagree with me on this one so I will concede the point...  :D

I think what is bieng said is that it's not TCS to kill someone in spawn before they have taken a step. I agree and I think most do, so that's the way it is.
