My armory is http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/aszune/Moras/simple and im applying for a Raider position. Although if you don't want to accept me as a raider because of my gear and/or inexperience i'd also like to throw in that i'm willing to take a Social membership.

Tell us a bit about yourself! Who are you? Where are you from? How old are you? What kind of work do you do?

Hello everyone! My name is Fredrik and i'm an 19 (soon 20) year old guy from the snowy lands of Sweden, where i've lived all my life (unfortunately... send me to a sunny country please!) I'm currently an unemployed guy with too much time on my hands! I like to spend time with my friends, throw a party and hang out with my family because i love them greatly. I live everyday to it's fullest and always try to think up new things and challenges to help me get through the long days.

Almost everyone that know me would describe me as "random". As in; I think up the craziest things to do and sometimes just goof around randomly because i feel like it and i really can't be bothered if other people think of me as a weird creature. I always strive to make atleast one person laugh everyday. It gives me a goal and it makes me happy to make people laugh, even if they're just laughing at me, that's twice the fun!

I enjoy the game because there is always something to do! "Tired of your dailies? Well go and do a transmog run then!" I always try to find new ways to have fun in this game, and everytime it surprises me!

How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?

Wow, this is a tough one. I guess ever since my family got a computer which was in '04 i think. My family was kind of "anti tech" in my youth. But i managed to turn them around. Anyway, the only memory of me playing a game other than WoW is Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Spectacular game by the way, used to play it for hours straight with my friends and i still play it from time to time today aswell! But anyway, WoW has been my primary game since Spring 2008 (Late BC) I've dabbeled into some other MMO's from time to time (Swtor etc) but i've always come back to WoW.

There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?

Well i've got some friends in this guild actually, whom i met during our time in . Its Pinnfiske and Nefyo, great lads. Always enjoy playing with them. They told me to check you guys out and i started to look through your "philosophy" and found i really liked the concept. I really don't wanna devote 5+ hours 6 days a week to raids anymore, i've grown out of it. However this doesn't mean i "slack" during raids. I give 100% in whatever situation i come into.

What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?

Well as i've already stated Mist has been my home on Aszune from early Wrath until late Cata where i left the guild and went to an irl friends guild on Darksorrow called Solis Rise. Had some fun there until i quit waiting for MoP. In the start of MoP i went into an IRL guild which failed horribly (who would've guessed). And from that point i've just been casually PvPing on Outland with my hunter and paladin.

Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?

Nefyo and Pinnfiske as previously stated. Knew them from Mist since Cata, great friends.

Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?

As i said earlier i have read them and i do truly enjoy the concept and i hope to be a part of it so i can see it in action

What do you look for in a guild?

I find that i always want to have a positive attitude towards my guild and also IN the guild. Meaning i like to be challenged and i hope i will be, but that i also like to have a postive attitude throughout the guild. So i can actually be happy to get online and raid and have a good time. Not having to log in and be miserable for 3-4 hours because someone is bringing the whole guild down with their shitty attitude

Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?

I think i'm going to start gearing my rogue at some point (Named Weidmo) But at the moment im focused on gearing up my priest as quickly as possible.

''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?

Davy Jones Locker

What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you?

My plans for the game is to have an enjoyable experience. That sounds really cliché i know but that truly is why i'm playing the game. I mean why would you play a game if you dont mean to enjoy it?

I would like others to know me as a random person that can be funny in his moments!

Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.

The high values. 500k hp and such. I really hope they do an item squish the next expansion because it's really not funny anymore.

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?

It really is hard to say anything that i find offensive. Boring answer i know but i there's really nothing that i find offensive anymore. Too much time on the internet i guess.

Cake or Pie?

The Cake is a lie.

ADDITIONAL questions for Raid Applicants:

Which evenings of the week are you available to raid?

I'm available to raid EVERY day, although i'd prefer to keep it at 3-4 evenings max. Fridays and Saturdays can be an issue sometimes because i like to take a break from wow for a weekend every now and then and just relax and hang out with friends/family. But anything goes really.

Can you and will you speak actively with other guild members on Teamspeak and in guild chat?

Yes i can and Yes i will. Not really an option there i think. You should always strive to speak in teamspeak during raids to enjoy the friendly atmosphere

Do you have a stable internet connection?

I do. 100/100 I have yet to see a disconnect happen for me.

What sort of frame rates do you get when raiding?

10mans i usually get 30-40 25mans, 20-25

What kind of raiding experience do you have?

WotLK: Naxx, Ulduar (some hardmodes) Totc 4/5 Heroic 25, ICC 11/12 Heroic 10 and 25 during current content.
Cata: Firelands 6/7 Heroic 10 Dragon Soul 8/8 Heroic 10 (I even had legendary daggers yeey)
MoP: MsV: 6/6 Normal, HoF 5/6 Normal.

I do realise that my raidingprogress in MoP is not good at all. But i do hope you can see im a competent raider eventhough i haven't done anything of note in MoP

Why did you decide to play this class?

I wanted to try something new. Shadow priests have always been intriguing and it's always seemed like my kind of class. I've grown tired of playing melee/tank and just having the boss covering half my screen. As a ranged class so many opportunities opened up for me and i can see the game from a new perspective because of the amount of information i can pick up during an encounter.

What do you think your class' role is in raid content?

Utility/Damage with some pretty nifty utility mechanics. Life Grip and Vampiric Embrace can be lifesaving. Offhealing with Halo, PoM and renew can also be good in situations.

Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)

Tier 1: This was kind of a nobrainer. Roots for adds is just immensly powerful during some encounters and is helpful

Tier 2: Also a nobrainer for me. 60% speedboost is useful if you're a little late with running away and can be a lifesaver.

Tier 3: Situational. When i know i'm mostly gonna be stationary during the fight it's a nobrainer. If it is a movement intese fight though i'm picking FDCL though. Mindbender isn't strong enough to go into.

Tier 4: Also nobrainer, 30% of your health instantly is just too powerful to ignore. The other talents don't even come close.

Tier 5: Situational. When my haste gets higher i'm gonna switch PI out for DI. But right now PI is a higher dpsgain than DI. TF is not worth it unless the fight goes into sub 20% hp all the time

Tier 6: If you can manage your position Halo is the best option. It's supercool, superuseful and also does incredible amounts of damage when timed correctly

Hey Weidmo, you know me too!

Not playing my warrior anymore, but it's Varynn hiding under the shell.

Hey and good luck with your application :)

Insert: "........................................................." into google translate and make the target language japanese. Then have it read aloud and enjoy the ridiculousness.

Hi Fredrik, nice application, you obviously put the time and effort into it and we appreciate it.

We can certainly offer you Social membership immediately.   As far as raid spots go we're a bit full on priests at the moment as the paladin/priest/warlock token group already has 4 people in it within the 10 man raid group.    We're currently only looking for one additional hunter to fill the last open spot in the raid group prior to 5.4.

DMR will be running a Friday night Flex Raid though which you will be welcome to get involved in as soon a 5.4 comes out.   Initially though you are right that you need to work on gear before raiding becomes a possibility - i465 is simply too low even for most LFR's let alone the upcoming SoO raid.

Whisper an officer when you are online next and we'll be happy to give you an invite! :dmw:
