The behaviour of 2 regular long-time members (Duvel & Dickdastardly) on MH tonight was quite appalling.

Apologising for a teamwounding is expected from everybody;

If it is not forthcoming quickly enough does not warrant ranting loudly at them on comms or TS, and it certainly does not warrant TWing or TKing them back.

To say I was disappointed in them is an understatement.

I spoke to them individually in private, but the acrimonious behaviour carried on, leaving me no option other than to issue a week ban each.

Perhaps when they return we can have a more mature attitude from them both.

Thats not good :(, but not surprised tbh, hopefully they will think again before opening their mouths / taking action into their own hands

Apparently I actually exist! Or maybe it was the drink?

I've had a PM from both.

Duv seems to accepted it, but DD thinks it's unfair.

Admittedly Duv did seem to be the aggressor and was ranting loudly in comms, but DD didn't deal with it  in an appropriate manner.

On reflection, I should've banned them both immediately instead of trying to peacemake.

Lesson Learned.

Without being there, the punishment seem fit, ive had a few bumpins with Duvel & DD the last weeks (mainly Duvel tho, trying to push the bounds of our rules over and over)

Yes, good call - it's hard but necessary.

I was present, but on the opposing team.  I heard Duvel vent his anger on TS.  I can see both their points. DD should have apologized, but for Duvel to then start TeamAttacking or TeamKilling is just wrong.

I would've thought that he knows better, he should be leading by example.  Hopefully the ban will make them think twice about doing it again.

Absolutely agreed, well said.

I played with him a few hours later (when my ping finally dropped) on some public GG servers, and was quite discouraged to see his behavior, bunnyhopping, TW'ing and so on.

Normally i dont care much for it, as its not our server, but on the other hand, when wearing our tag, i expect members to behave acordingly, they are ambassadors of dMw when wearing the tag.

One wonders what he's doing as part of the dMw community at all. I can't see how anyone who plays that way can have any real commitment to or belief in our ethos

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.
