One thing they did not explain particularly well in the video and which I think is worth explaining,  is why the water & oil are pre-heated prior to starting the engine for the first time.    In order to maximise power output they manufacture the cylinders & pistons to exceedingly fine tolerances, so fine that when an engine block is cold the engine is literally seized and will not turn.     Pre-heating the water & oil allows the engine block to warm up a bit, expand ever so slightly, just enough so that the pistons are not locked in place by the cylinders.
