He has an E6300 cpu compared to your E2220.   Then read this page:

Basically everything that has been said to King applies to you (and more so).     As Kreg says, you're going to need to set a budget for this as making minor changes to what you have whilst sticking with your current architecture will not really give you value for money, it will be more akin to throwing money down the drain.   In my opinion you really need to consider a larger change to bring the system more up to date.

At best any cpu upgrade on your current system would only bring it up to being marginally faster than King's system.    

A gpu upgrade is definitely needed.   You can see how far behind a GT240 is from here:

You need to think about a wholesale upgrade of everything, sorry.

Yep, like TL said - everything we said to King in the other thread also applies to your PC.

Your CPU is going to need a big upgrade, and that's going to require a new motherboard with new RAM. The GPU is also a bit light for BF4, so you'll want to upgrade that too.

Not quite sure who is your best supplier in your Netherlands, but in terms of what you need I'd  suggest you start with the BF4 specs issued by EA:

4GB RAM|8GB RAM

512MB Graphics Memory|3GB Graphics Memory
I'd err towards the recommended side of things if at all possible.   I'd also go Haswell, you can get previous generation hardware, but I see little point in locking yourself into already old technology if you are buying new now.

Personally I'd look at something like Intel Core i5-4670K combined 8GB RAM and an appropriate Socket 1150 motherboard, plus a graphics card.   What card does the job for you will largely depend on the resolution you play at - what is it?

That minimum card is certainly not going to play the game. 8800GT is the card I used to have and was showing its age around 5 years ago when I replaced it with a 4870 (and that has since been replaced). A computer capable of running BF4 with reasonable performance is likely to cost around £600, less if you can reuse stuff.

This is towards the low end of what I would budget. You can spend less than that, but savings may come back to haunt you due to a shorter playable lifetime. Similarly, anything extra you can afford to spend now on a better CPU or GPU, increases the longevity of the card. eg. buying a £150 now and another in a year and 1/2  costs more than a £250 card that lasts the full 3 years giving reasonable performance throughout.

Until you reach about £1500 you don't really hit the point of diminishing return on investment, so it's important to keep a budget in mind, and try and keep the performance level even throughout. It's no good buying AMD 290 graphics card and pairing it with an i3.

Ok here's my two pence worth,

Graphics card is almost always going to be the best upgrade but whacking a 780Ti in your current rig would mean the card was unable to operate to its full potential because it would be hugely bottle necked by your CPU
Without knowing your exact budget there's a few ways you could go:

•   Motherboard Gigabyte H81M-DS2, £45.00
•   Ram 8gb (2x4) Teamgroup elite black, 1600MHz DDR 3, £60.00

that's a good start for a budget gaming system, you could spend 10x that on a motherboard but I'm going to assume your not overclocking the living daylights out of it and this board will be fine for running at stock speeds.
Now, CPU, if you have the funds go for the I5, if not the G3220 is a solid CPU that wont hold back a modern card too much and can be easily upgraded later down the line.

•   Intel G3220 Haswell, 3.0 GHz dual core £48.00
or
•   Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz  quad core £186.00


And for graphics you can really spend a fortune but i would be thinking:

•   KFA2 Geforce GTX 770 EX OC 2048MB, £255.00 will be enough to max the game out at 1080p, Ultra settings and maintain 50 + FPS (possibly 45+ with the G3220)
or
•   VTX3D HD 7870 X-Edition 2048MB, £140.00 will give you 35+ FPS at 1080p on Ultra (possibly 30+ FPS from the G3220)

If you know how much you want to spend I can look into exact options for you.

It is not super but it will have to do for now.
