So over the past few weeks the Assetto devs have had a poll up, first asking which car brand we would like to see in 2014, and now which models from the chosen brands we would like.

Out of the initial car choices I voted for RUF (which is basically Porsche). I chose this because what I am most interested in a sim is the most amount of variety of cars types and layouts.  For example, the Porsche is a Rear Engine/Rear wheel drive, so it would be quite different handling wise.

These where the brands that where chosen : RUF, Audi, Aston Martin, Alfa Romeo, Nissan (datsun :P)

I chose
Audi: Quatro
RUF: RT35
Alfa: 33 Stradale
Nissan: Gt-R
Aston: DB9

One worrying aspect I see in the votes though, are the amount of boring GTR cars people are choosing.  Nearly every poll the GTR cars are winning, which kinda sucks in my opinion.  GTR cars are ok but they are pretty similar and don't have nearly as much character as the road variants. I mean a GTR Aston and a GTR Audi...not exactly much to choose between them I am guessing.  Another example; with the choice between an Audi Quatro or an Audi R8 GTR, which do you think would be more unique/fun?  No-brainer for me.

Any way what did you vote for? And don't tell me GTR!!  And if you didn't vote get on there and choose some "normal" cars!  :D

Jeez, don't all reply at once! I don't bite, I promise :D

Anyway, that poll is closed now.  Top votes where for 3 GTR cars, 1 Touring car and a rear engine, rear drive Porsche.  Not too bad, would have preferred less GTR.  Who knows maybe we will see the others with higher votes some time too...

Now they are asking what tracks we would like, we can choose three.

I picked:
Nordschleife
Bathurst
Brands hatch

I'd ask what you guys picked but I wont hold my breath :P

Lameduck

I picked your first two also. Automatic choice really.
3rd choice was Laguna Seca, but all three have the changes in height undulations that I prefer
