Questions for ALL applicants:
Please link to your armory profile.
First Alliance character and level 22 so gearing up. But 4 x BOA Heirlooms.

Are you applying for a Raider position, or Social membership?
Social to start and then for raiding (once I have proven my knowledge of my class and raiding tactics)

Tell us a bit about yourself! Who are you? Where are you from? How old are you? What kind of work do you do?
My name is Chris and from Kent in the UK. Work in marketing and 35 years old.....yes, I know I am old! :-) I have been playing WoW for 5+ years.

Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
Chilled, relaxed and just enjoy being around people. Love my music, so always listening to something new when playing the game (unless I am raiding ofc) and helping out where I can. The game provides a good level of escapism after 10 hour days and I have met some fantastic people while progressing through the game who have become real life friends.

How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?
This my show my age...I remember when the NES was launched so a long time and had an old Atari with Packman! Enjoy all sorts of games but WoW, by far, is the most entertaining.

There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?
I completely agreed with your philosophy and it looks like there is an appreciation for the fact that people work and have a life outside WoW too.

What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?
Fearless Horde...yep, I have played Horde for years but wanted a change and have to say Alliance seems much more fun.

Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?
I saw you on WoW Progress and was looking for a guild that would allow social members who are keen to progress to a raid spot.

Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?
Yep. Liked it and agreed with it. I am 35 so looking for a mature but fun guild with an appreciation for the world outside WoW.

What do you look for in a guild?
A guild that has a level of maturity, is fun, treats others how they want to be treated themselves and has the desire to constantly improve.

Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?
Only have Horde alts on this server. Tiranian, Tribdoo, Seflix etc

''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?
Dead Man Walking and an image of of someone on Death Row (hope that is not too morbid)

What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you?

I plan to grow and develop my first Alliance hunter alt and use my knowledge of the class (once at level 90) to try and worm my way in to a raid team :-) I would like other to know me as the chap that is here to help and also here to progress but have some fun with it too.

Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.
Nothing about WoW itself just some people who find they need to hurl abuse at new players..they all have to start somewhere.

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
Bring a level of maturity to the situation, ask them to clarify (as things can get lost in translation) and have an adult conversation about it. Let them know why I found it offensive, make up and then go and kill some Horde together in some PvP instances :-)

Cake or Pie?
Pie all the way. Savoury all the way. I would rather a silver platter of mini kievs than a silver platter of ferro roche.

******END OF SOCIAL APPLICANT QUESTIONS******

ADDITIONAL questions for Raid Applicants: I havent answered these for now as I may not be raiding for 10 months or so due to work challenges.

Which evenings of the week are you available to raid?
Can you and will you speak actively with other guild members on Teamspeak and in guild chat?
Do you have a stable internet connection?
What sort of frame rates do you get when raiding?
What kind of raiding experience do you have?
If you are a cross-server applicant, name someone from your home server that can vouch for you.
If your armory does not show your intended spec then please make a template of it and link it.
Why did you decide to play this class?
What do you think your class' role is in raid content?
Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question

That's not old.  If it were a ZX81 then you'd qualify.   You're still just a teenager! :roflmao:

Welcome onboard Chris!

"What /who is the new lvl 22 ? ..... Maybe we can make leveling less of a grind"

Woops! This info would be useful :-) The charater's name is Tirranian and now a level 25 BM hunter.

Thanks very much.

Maybe there\'s something to be said for being different. We are who we are. What more could we ask for?
