Weighty people and office chairs

Does anyone who has extra weight have problems with these "executive" office chairs?

Whatever I seem to buy ends up with something breaking in a couple of months, be they the inserts that hold the wheels in place or the wheels themselves.  Not the first time the bloody shaft also ends up defective.

This time round I managed to find a chair with a metal base and metal wheel inserts.  However like all chairs, it came with plastic wheels/casters.  Now my bloody wheels are popping off the sides, sigh...:frusty:

Thus I came up with two solutions, remove the wheels (which ends up with the chair being too low for my current table), or buy steel wheels.

Has anyone seen steel caster wheels for office chairs?
