This has been mentioned before, but anyone have any objections to us running a Garry's Mod server?   We have several junior members who play it (my son for example) and he usually plays with (and is an admin for) a group of GCSE-age people.   They have in the past run their own server, but the £12 per month rental has not been forthcoming in donations and it has ceased, so they are looking for a place to play Garry's Mod.  There seems to be an opportunity here to use BA4, get some of our own juniors onto our own server and gather some gamers into the community.  What do you think?

The one that seems to get them going most is Prop Hunt, especially with low gravity.   In essence one team gets 30 seconds to hide (they are disguised as props) and the other team has to find them.

Fine with me so long as our core values are maintained with regards to playing style, language etc :)

Agreed, it would need to be run like that and from talking to Andrew that's the way it seems to run at the moment.   I often hear their comms and it seems fine from what I have heard.

Erm, it would appear that my previous post was taken as me volunteering to run the server.

As I've never played it and don't know anything about it, I'm none too sure that I would want to be in charge.

I will probably have a go at some point but at the moment all my gaming time is taken up by CS:GO and I feel it would be unfair to the youngsters if I can't put the time and effort in.

Apologies, I was deferring to you as it was within the CS realm, you would not have to run it, we can consider alternative arrangements.
