Slept on worse, so if I don't manage to get a room; that might be the remaining option.

I'll check with my lecturers on potential assignment days and see from there.

Bit of an update.  No exams which is brilliant, and just received some money which will be funding the adventure.

Two problems left.  

1) Due to budget restrictions, Ryanair will be my airline, and since I plan to be there on Thursday that means Luton airport.  The issue there is that the Sunday flight back is quite early.  Add-in travel to airport plus arriving some time prior to departure, and it's insanely early.  The only option is departure on Monday, which is around 6.25pm, which leads to my problem.  No where to stay between Sunday > Monday.  Anyone in the airport vicinity with a couch for rent?  I can pay/do housework/cook as reimbursement.

2) According to the hotel's website (haven't phoned yet due to issue 1), they are fully booked.  Does anyone have a room with an empty spot and interested in sharing?

The answer to part 2 is that we block book the hotel rooms so if you email or phone there should be some left. If not drop me a pm.  Can't help with the 1st as I live 2 and half hours away.

I can do the Luton pickup on Thursday, at about 11 if that's any help.

We also have four cars from LHR on the Thursday morning that will pass within 10 miles of Luton on the way to the hotel, so pickup should be no problem, we can act as a reserve in case TwoBad has any problems!

I'll be honest, getting you to Luton for perhaps 6.45am Sunday morning is a stretch, so I reckon you're looking at the Monday flight.   If it helps, you're welcome to come back with me on the Sunday, stay the Sunday night at my place and then I can drop you down to Luton for the Monday evening flight.  I think we'll have enough space on the Sunday (I'll go check the transport thread now!)
