Smoke ....

Found some nice spots for smoke when attacking.......

A couple of our set rush plays can be helped by a smoke beeing dropped during the rush .....feel free to test it out and see what you think

AZTEC

On a door rush throw a long smoke right .......this will cut off the view for the CT covering middle and bridge allowing you to run into the site under less gunfire


DUST 2

Rush through the mincer and turn right..go throught the doors in the middle then left up into "B" .........a short smoke thrown into CT spawn will again block the view of the CT's covering "A" allowing you more chance of getting into "B" without getting shot in the back


DUST 2

Hide the T sniper in the long "A" ramp by throwing 3 short smokes down long "A" let them fill up the route then the sniper jumps in
The interesting thing is that with only the top of the snipers head showing its almost impossible to spot through the smoke and allows a few safe shots....good for a diversion as u all rush back to "B"




in all cases the more smoke the better it will work

Smoke also helps defend this attack.  As a CT at the 'double doors rush' bomb site on de_aztec try throwing a smoke to land just next to the top of the ramp.  As the charging Ts cannot see through the smoke their charge is slowed sufficiently long enough to enable you to pick more of them off than you would have done and to allow backup to arrive.

We poped on the server this morning to test some of the the smoke points

smite.squonk.red thanks ...fun was had ....what should have been 5 mins lasted for about an hour

placement of the smoke is quite a fine art to get it perfect but as long as its in the basic area it will only have a positive effect

One thing i would ask is that if u dont buy smoke start to buy it as a matter of course.. It will effect how much money you have but having the option to use it could help for a much more interesting game

Some lads don't know the smoke in de_inferno.
As T moving up near the path to the sniperroom (Sadako 1), you can throw a grenade up there down the ramp and I will move all the way up. Some lads don't know this yet. It's quit a funny sight seeing the nade going all the way up. This 1 also works in the map with the downed plane and truck (it works on the ramp on the left of T spawn).

I dont know this one  :oops:  where exactly would u place the smoke on the "sadako1" rush  :unsure:

You know Sadako 1 probably so when you turn right before the house you see some wooden boxes throw it near that and If you do it correct it'll bounch all the way up. A few lads allready know, Ask them if I'm not on.

I think you liked it alot didn't you Jas, I'm off trying it on other ramps asswell, it seems to work on the smaller ramp in inferno aswell. The best way to throw is to throw against a wall real low and it'll go all the way up.
